Quite possible. I trust Cig and Shanahan with the evaluation of whatever the portal provides. -
IUFB Recruiting and Transfer Portal Updates

Would gladly welcome back Sorsby. Dude has talent and an edge. Cig and Shanahan would make that work. -
I feel like next year schedule is tougher, no? Not nearly as many blowout potential, although the game at Michigan is looking better

IUFB Recruiting and Transfer Portal Updates

Measurement isnt great but everything else is. Kiper has him.as 8th ranked CB. I have seen several mocks that have him graded in the 2nd/3rd round. My guess is he goes. We probably have 5 early entrant candidates. Mendoza (gone) Ponds (likely gone) Cooper (I would guess gone but idk) Smith (50/50) Ferrell (50/50) Guessing is futile, but for fun I will say we keep 1 or 2 of these guys for next year. Would love to hear other opinions though. -

By my count we have offered 5 of the 4* guys in Michigan's 2026 class. One of which is TE Matt Ludwig who was just granted release from his NLI. -
Yeah its all very messed up if UM boards are to be believed
-
Yeah UM situation got dark real quick..

Feel horrible for Daley. I'm sure he is devastated Edge is very weak for.us with Wyatt and Daley out. Interior is deeper with Wheeler and Ratcliff being competent 2s at DT. Kamara could get shifted back to the role he played last year with Ndukwe filling his current slot. Landino is also quick and agile enough to let him do some rushing off the end, which would probably mean increased snaps for Wheeler.
-
Yep, too much smoke to be absolute false. Hope its not serious. If no Daley, I guess we could move Kamara back to DE and slide Ndukwe in at stud. Or DePaepe will get more snaps at DE.

If there was an injury something will leak this week. Word spreads fast in a town the size of Bloom.
-
Pass rush is already thin with Wyatt out. Hope its a baseless rumor because losing Daley would be a gut punch.

Source?

Am I the only one that doesn't want the playoff expanded much more? Most probably think that more football = better, but there will ALWAYS be arguments about who got left out. 16 team...17th team *******. 24 team...then team 25 does. Realistically anyone outside the top 10-12 doesn't have a realistic title shot. And the regular season as is acts to filter them. The committee itself is flawed, but thats a tangential discussion.
-
Yep. We don't deserve to be ranked after last week. BUT I think DRock will have this team improved. The lack of size and athleticism certainly might have a ceiling, but we can still be a tough out if we patch some of our deficiencies.
-
Exactly how I feel. Bowl season is entirely too inflated with bowls that mean absolutely nothing. Let these games rot. Teams declining because they dont give a **** and I don't blame them

This is great. We can laugh at ND for being whiny losers, and ESPN most likely loses money from not having the Irish cash machine on their network. Win-win!
-
If this would have been in place this year, they just would have dropped them to 13 to get the same result. The committee puts who they want, then works logic backwards to justify it.

Counterpoint: lots of people watch and they make $$$ from ad revenue. I agree with you, btw. Haven't watched a single one all season, but they will not stop.
