I think DeBoer is a better coach than Venables as well. When talent is near equal, I think I would rather face the coaching staff I fear less (so that we have a massive advantage im that area). Obviously Cig is elite, but so are others in the playoff. I would not label Venables and staff as "elite", outside of defensive scheme.

We probably have 5 early entrant candidates. Mendoza (gone) Ponds (likely gone) Cooper (I would guess gone but idk) Smith (50/50) Ferrell (50/50) Guessing is futile, but for fun I will say we keep 1 or 2 of these guys for next year. Would love to hear other opinions though.

By my count we have offered 5 of the 4* guys in Michigan's 2026 class. One of which is TE Matt Ludwig who was just granted release from his NLI.

Feel horrible for Daley. I'm sure he is devastated Edge is very weak for.us with Wyatt and Daley out. Interior is deeper with Wheeler and Ratcliff being competent 2s at DT. Kamara could get shifted back to the role he played last year with Ndukwe filling his current slot. Landino is also quick and agile enough to let him do some rushing off the end, which would probably mean increased snaps for Wheeler.
