    Runor is the university had a coach in waiting situation for a bit and got tired of the "waiting". So he didn't really retire but was pressured out. Again just hearsay but it adds up if he is still looking to coach.

    I think DeBoer is a better coach than Venables as well. When talent is near equal, I think I would rather face the coaching staff I fear less (so that we have a massive advantage im that area). Obviously Cig is elite, but so are others in the playoff. I would not label Venables and staff as "elite", outside of defensive scheme.

    Lots of good WR and DB in the portal. Both big areas of need, especially if Ponds and Ferrell leave. Along with Marsh, Jayce Brown (K St), Horatio Fields (Auburn), or Braden Pegan (Utah st) would be incredible. Florida St also has several very good players leaving and hope we take a look.
