Don't know exactly the expectations but he is the 22nd ranked player in his class. He's tough and can finish through contact and rebound out the wazoo so he adds something that we severely lack

I don't know if I see Max at UNLV. He is good friend with Goodluck but that is his only connection to them. Other than IU his next biggest offer was from Utah and besides that he had offers from a handful of smaller California based schools. Im guessing he lands at one of the smaller schools so he can be THE man like he wants to be

Sadly, I don't think t he administration really cares. They have been terrible the past two years, but the schools is still making a lot of revenue off the basketball program and everything. A lot of these administrators have only heard about IU's days of glory and really have no real life connection to it so as long as the money is flowing, they probably don't care

Their argument though is that he is under contract for a few more years so why would they have to announce that he is coming back. I keep hearing the only way they will make any sort of announcement is if he is leaving. I think people just better get used to the idea of him staying for next year cause no matter what any of us want, all signs are pointing to him staying.

Doesn't stand by its coaches? They have stood by far too long. Plus doesn't IU already have that reputation after what happened with Knight?

I don't remember where else I read it but it seems like it wouldn't be in Crean's personality to leave Indiana. He seems to think he can change the basketball world in one swoop and I think his ego will prevent him from just deciding to leave for a lower level job. 

I think Crean deciding to resign and go to another school is gone though. He was linked to several schools a week or two ago and now the "insiders" of college basketball don't have his name listed at any of the openings.

Great job recruiting IUs recruits. Thats why Izzo wants Crean to stay at IU. Crean works hard to find some of these recruits and Izzo swoops in at the last minute to nab them

Not just a problem here. Its a problem all over college basketball. I just don't see role players being that big of a senior leader. 

Also important to remember that Remy wanted to transfer so Crean did all the paperwork side of things for it then a week or two later Remy came back saying he changed his mind and wanted to be back on the team, but all the documents and paperwork had already been filed with the NCAA. People can make Crean the villain and say he is "Creaning" player but individual players are also young kids who make knee jerk decisions as well. 

It seemed like the Austin Etherington that was scared to shoot the ball and just didn't have "it" athletically here at IU wasn't a fluke cause he seemed the same way at Butler. He got about the same amount of playing time at Butler this year as he did at IU last year and had the same level of production (not much)

They struggled to beat the almighty Northeastern today

In other words if they those players were good enough to be in this years draft…they would list them in this years mock draft. Hence at the beginning of the season Troy was listed in several 2015 mock drafts but as his play started to slip he fell lower and lower on those mocks until he fell out of the 2015 mocks all together.  It happens to players all the time. The example you used of McCullough, he is still listed as a pick in several 2015 mocks.  They don't list these players and don't expect them come out because they aren't ready or they would list them no matter what.  

If he goes this year he won't be draft. I already said it but if you search all the recent mock drafts Troy's name doesn't appear on any of them and its already the end of the year, so that doesn't bode well

Troy is not in any of the mock drafts for next year. Not even as a second round pick…Troy is not going to the NBA after this season
