I believe we will get Pat Kelsey a raise, he just won't be coaching Indiana.

From what I have gathered: RTZ stated 60/40 in favor of May at this point. Didn't elaborate. Chris and the others are still hearing positive things about Stevens. One guy who knows a BOT member said Stevens wasn't interested in coaching. Yeagley and Chris are still strong pro Stevens unless I missed something. A couple others seem to be hearing things positive for Stevens. One of the new guys is the only one really saying there is no chance. (And Chris hinted he heard the opposite today)

I'm down just for the chaos that would ensue.

I dont believe Oats or Wright are interested at all. I could see Few with the NIL situation being better here. I'd take Few over Dusty every day.

Started on Scout (I think) in college in 2010. Posted under the same username I believe. Jaybob then recruited me over here during a mass exodus of whatever board Scout eventually turned into.

Has anything like this ever happened? A new coach being signed while the current coach is still coaching games?

They aren't going to announce the new coach until the season is over. It doesn't matter who it is. You don't sign a new coach when your old one is still employed with you.

I think i prefer him over Cronin. The only negatives are he did fail at Iowa State and he is 60 (which surprised me when I looked it up). I think we could see a higher ceiling with McDermott than Cronin, but possibly a lower (but not by much) floor.

Thamel does seem to be IU's go to national guy (at least for football). He was the first to break the Cignetti hire news, as well as the first with all the Rourke injury updates (Thumb and ACL)
