While his tenure at ISU should be held against him. Creighton has been a power 5 school for 11 years and he's finished worse than 4th only 2 of those years (years 2&3 of joining the conference). Creighton is not a small basketball school. As someone pointed out, they were 6th in attendance last year per game. (Ahead of Indiana).

McDermott (60): D1. 3 Sweet 16's and beyond with a peak of a single Elite 8. Has only finished below 4th in the Big East twice in 10 years. McCollum (43): D1. 23 games coached at a non power 5 D1 school. I get the argument for McCollum over a guy like McDermott and I'm not against McCollum. What he has done at the D2 level is incredible. He still has only coached 23 games of non power 5 basketball at the D1 level. Trying to frame D2 and D1 success as equal is disingenuous and I would disagree with that logic.

Even though he is a little older than I would like, he's probably #3 on my list behind Stevens and May.
