From what I can tell, Otz signing that contract now, actually would benefit Indiana if we were interested. I still think he's locked into Ames long term, but it is interesting.

Drew also has 2 additional Elite 8's. This is asinine. And Drew is doing at a school that made the NCAA Tournament ONE TIME since 1950 before he started there.

Results trump results. What are you even talking about? Drew has a better resume than Cronin and coaches at a much worse school with a history of bad basketball than Cronin ever has.

I'll be honest, his resume at Maryland was better than I thought it was, ill give you that. But he had some talented teams and only got to the sweet 16 one time. He's also 60 and hasn't coached in 5 years. I just don't think there's a scenario where he ends up being the hire.

Seriously, go look at Baylor's basketball history before Drew got there, and compared it to post Drew. It looks like 2 different schools. They had made the tournament one time since 1950!

If making the tournament 5 times in 15 years is overachieving, sign me up for the Clemson job. He's done exactly what a middling coach does at a middling university. Occasionally make the tournament and occasionally go about .500.

Nice. Sucks about going to Wisconsin though. Just kidding (the campus is beautiful) but growing up as an IU fan I lived in Milwaukee from ages 9-18, so Wisconsin is on par with Purdue for me for my most hated rival team. (Ironically enough, IU also took a coach from a local team while I lived in Milwaukee) Currently live in Evansville myself (but didn't move here until after college) Also went to IU, my senior year was 2012-2013, so I really thought I had a chance to experience a NC while attending (and then Syracuse happened). Here's to hoping the next guy can get it going.
