It did make me raise my eyebrow. Vegas usually knows something though. Certainly wouldn't be where I would put my money based on what has been going around, but maybe that makes it the smart bet if their are truly no leaks.

He's been a respected IU board poster for 15+ years. Whether he is right or wrong on this is a different matter. But the misuse of the word troll is rampant on these boards.

If he has similar results as several of the last few coaches (Barnes, Purnell) i don't think it's actually that hard to win. 4 tournaments in 14 years is not good and does not indicate he's a good coach.

Reminder: The football Hot Board moved Cignetti down 2 tiers, and then promptly 2 days later... he was hired. I'm not buying Brownell at all. McCollum, I could at least see the vision behind, but it is a big risk.

I don't love it. But it's better than some of the other names that have been floating around. D2 to Indiana is a monumental leap in basically 1 year. Needs to have a great staff around him for this transition.
