  1. Temple beats Cincinnati on the road to open up conference play.
  2. looks like Sasha is still there best player. Sasha was defiantly the best player on the floor when I watched them at southport
  3. Monmouth loses to army. That will hurt their chances for an at-large bid if they don't win their tournament
  4. A good article by Seth Davis on first 2 months of the season http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2015/12/27/hoop-thoughts-awards-conference-play-michigan-state-kansas-kentucky
  5. they are also the latest numbers to go by
  6. they are down 11 at half to Loyola
  7. http://www.forbes.com/pictures/emdm45ehefd/5-indiana-hoosiers/ This is from the year before we fell from 5th to 8th in a year

  9. problem with playing that tough of schedule is it leaves no margin of error and if you lose all of the tough games your season is pretty much over before the start of the big 10 season. Anyone else remember the 2004-05 non conference schedule? 6 straight loses, North Carolina at home, Uconn on the road, notre dame at home, Kentucky at freedom hall, Missouri on the road and Charlotte at home. I agree we need to get rid of the 300 plus cupcakes no reason why should have 5 games against teams like that
  10. A very long article on an ex Cincinnati assistant coach that is coming clean on things he did to get recruits. The article mentions Iu and knight but not in a negative light. If u have time and are interested it is worth reading. http://www.courier-journal.com/story/sports/tim-sullivan/2015/12/24/confessions-college-hoops-slimeball/77318732/
  11. i wouldn't say no one was talking about Butler before stevens took over. I would say he pushed them to a place no one thought someone could take Butler. Just look at the coaches before Stevens became head coach. Thad Matta and Todd lickliter both had some success. For me, the game against Florida in the 2000 tourney where mike Miller hit a last second shot to beat butler was where people started to take notice of butler basketball
  12. yeah he is definitely the catalyst offensively. Teams who will have success against butler will take advantage of Lewis on the defensive end like Miami did. Purdue didn't have the point guard to take advantage of him.
  13. @1NationORG The recruitment of Josh Jackson has not been finalized. The news reported by the Detroit Free Press isn't true. I still think he ends up at Michigan state
  14. Never mind Virginia showing why they r a top 5 team won by 1. Bennett with a hell of a play to get brogden a 3. The good old elevator screen
  15. Cal looking to close out an impressive road win. Up 5 with a min to go in ot
  16. Xavier must of dominated the 2nd half, they are up 8 with 20 sec to go
  17. Halftime score: Wake Forest 43, No. 6 Xavier 28. I tried to watch it on ESPN 3 but it says it's blacked out in my area.
  18. they are playing on a neutral court at auburn hills palace but they just did play northeastern on the road
  19. i could also see us under performing in the big 10 and get an 11 seed and making at least a sweet 16 run ( kind of like that NC state that had a lot of talent and under preformed until the tournament and then made a little run). Of course no matter what seed we get it will all depend on the matchup on whether we will advance
  20. @ESPNLunardi 28-Iowa, 29-Utah, 30-UConn, 31-SoCar, 32-Baylor, 33-Fla, 34-Texas, 35-Ind, 36-NDame, 37-Cuse, 38-SoCal, 39-Monmouth, 40-VALPO, 41- ArizSt As of today joe believes we have the 35th best resume ( we would be a 9 seed)
  21. the committee cares about top 100 wins and creighton was a top 100 win. That mediocre big 10 schedule you are talking about has 10 games against teams that are top 100 as well and 3 other games against teams just outside the top 100
  22. Just watched the game again, dakich also called yogi from Indianapolis one of the truly great players or point guard in Indiana basketball history. i personally don't think he holds bitterness against the iu program
  23. @MikeMiller Tom Crean says it's a possibility that IU adds a new player in next few weeks. Nothing in the works, however. #iubb
  24. the game I watched him play at southport he played more SF, they had 2 smaller guards handling the ball and bringing it up but I can very well see him as a SG in college. The kid is a stud and was worth the price of admission (10 bucks). I would assume Louisville will be the favorite to land him if I had to guess
  25. @JeffRabjohns Indiana watched 2016 guard Devonte Green today at the @CityLegendz event, per @NYCHoops.
