Smu wins again. I feel bad for Moore because they would be a tournament team. That has got to sting being a senior and knowing you should be dancing but the NCAA penalizes the kids for what their coach did. Shake had another solid game. He led the Mustangs in scoring with 24

i knew he was a top 50 recuit coming to iu but never once while he was here did I think he should of been that highly ranked. Maybe a change schools will be good for him. I hope he does well. Rhode Island should be near the top of the a-10 next year -

i was surprised vcu and Rhode Island still wanted Stan. That's still highly a couple of recognizable programs. Rhode Island probably would of made the tournament this year if their best player didn't get hurt. Hurley is a good coach -

romeo is a special talent, I watched him at the southport tournament against pike drop 30 and pike tried to bring multiple defenders at him anytime he touched it. He shredded their defense at times. -

that game against Ben Davis might of been hartmans senior year and colemans sophomore year. Hell ive watched too many games since then to know for sure I will have to check. Forgive my memory lapse -

i would say every top prospect gets doubled and sometimes tripled team and kids manage to find a way to get their points but maybe he hasn't seen that before and will learn to adjust to being doubled. I look forward to watching him again later in the year to see him have a better game then he had -

in the high school games I watched of Hartman he looked miles ahead of where gelon is right now. I wouldn't say that Hartman was always 2nd to Coleman( he added lands to his name to honor someone). I watched Coleman struggle against Ben Davis his freshman year while Hartman kept them in the game and hit some big shots at the end of the game -

looks like Sasha is still there best player. Sasha was defiantly the best player on the floor when I watched them at southport -
Monmouth loses to army. That will hurt their chances for an at-large bid if they don't win their tournament

problem with playing that tough of schedule is it leaves no margin of error and if you lose all of the tough games your season is pretty much over before the start of the big 10 season. Anyone else remember the 2004-05 non conference schedule? 6 straight loses, North Carolina at home, Uconn on the road, notre dame at home, Kentucky at freedom hall, Missouri on the road and Charlotte at home. I agree we need to get rid of the 300 plus cupcakes no reason why should have 5 games against teams like that

A very long article on an ex Cincinnati assistant coach that is coming clean on things he did to get recruits. The article mentions Iu and knight but not in a negative light. If u have time and are interested it is worth reading. http://www.courier-journal.com/story/sports/tim-sullivan/2015/12/24/confessions-college-hoops-slimeball/77318732/

i wouldn't say no one was talking about Butler before stevens took over. I would say he pushed them to a place no one thought someone could take Butler. Just look at the coaches before Stevens became head coach. Thad Matta and Todd lickliter both had some success. For me, the game against Florida in the 2000 tourney where mike Miller hit a last second shot to beat butler was where people started to take notice of butler basketball
-
yeah he is definitely the catalyst offensively. Teams who will have success against butler will take advantage of Lewis on the defensive end like Miami did. Purdue didn't have the point guard to take advantage of him.

@1NationORG The recruitment of Josh Jackson has not been finalized. The news reported by the Detroit Free Press isn't true. I still think he ends up at Michigan state
