In my opinion it made ESPN 2 headlines because it happened at Indiana. If this was a players mom at Indiana state this story wouldn't have even been on the radar

marquette at the time was in the real big east which was a power conference in basketball. They have won a championship so if I was their fans I would of expected more as well. I'm saying imo he could coach at a place that doesn't have high expectations in one of the 351 divison 1 schools with less stress and be a successful enough coach to make those fans happy. Tubby got ran out of Kentucky and then got ran out of Minnesota. Now he is coaching at Texas tech where there is hardly any pressure on him and watching some interviews he looks less stressful then he did while he was at Minnesota the last couple years. This is just my opinion
mediocre for a coach at a program with indiana's pedigree but if he coached at Indiana state it wouldn't be viewed as mediocre. Although I don't think he is the right coach for iu, he was a division 1 coach before he came here and if he wants to be he will be a division 1 coach after he leaves here just not at a high level program
understood I was just pointing out another side of it you didn't have express again why you feel he isn't good enough for iu I know where you stand on the subject. You don't have to waste writing a long paragraph on why he isn't good enough when debating with me (just cut and paste from one of your previous points on the subject). not sure I have excused anything when it relates to the current coach being good enough for iu. My view on the subject is irrelevant because until the administration feel he isn't good enough he will be here. I personally will continue to watch the product on the floor because for me watching a poorly coached iu team is better then not watching iu at all. I've watched them as long as a can remember in my 37 years and I look forward to watching them for another 37 years. A bad Star Wars movie is still a Star Wars movie and I will watch, that's how I feel about watching iu currently
more talented rosters with far better coaches have lost in the 1st round as well. That's what makes the NCAA tournament special. You never know until you play
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=J623tJA0Eok I saw someone post this on Twitter. For the over 35 crowd this will bring back some memories watching iu from our younger years For the iu fan too young to remember these years if you bear through the quality of the video (non Hd) enjoy. Big 10 was stacked I also enjoyed the old commercials
yeah I remember last year before we lost to northwestern all the talking a heads were saying we didn't have a bad loss (although I would of added eastern Washington) E Washington was in the 70 s range forever but they started losing at the end of the year and 1 Week they went above 100 and all of a sudden we had 2 bad losses. Just crazy one week it's not a bad loss but the next week it is a bad loss. I wish the committee concidered ken Pom when they were deciding.
yeah I just look at opportunities outside the big. Like last year the e Washington loss could of been a win we should of had against a top 100 rpi. Wake forest probably will end up in the top 100 rpi and we should of won. I like padding a couple of top 100 rpi wins before the big season
Unlv down 4 at half. If chaminade wins our sos will take an even bigger dive then what we were expecting before this tourney started Although Unlv isn't great. By March I bet they will have a top 100 rpi which committee looks at
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kbYPFNfEa-Y this play might of worked better. Always pass the ball to give the ball handler momentum going toward the basket when time is running out If it goes in it goes in at least give it a chance to go in. Heck in 1995 I saw tyus edney drive the length of court in under 5 sec for a layup. Yogi might not have been able to get to the hoop for a layup but if u pass him the ball while he has momentum I like his chances of getting off a shot around the nba line. easy for me to say that watching at home though
luckily rice imo isn't that great of coach. He has brought in loads of talent and hasn't done much with them. I watched a couple games last year where he cost them with some questionable coaching moves
