Standings and remaining schedule 2/22
Uspshoosier replied to BottomLine's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
if we do not win it outright with how crazy college basketball has been this year I could see a senerio where we share it with Michigan st. We lose both and Illinois beats Maryland and Iowa loses today and at Michigan. Having said this I fully expect us to beat Maryland but if we don't just remember what happened to the last home team that lost and had max on it playing for a share of the big 10 title. It turned out ok for Michigan when they lost -

@jonrothstein Indiana is only giving up an average of 62.2 PPG in 16 Big Ten games. Hoosiers have improved leaps and bound defensively this year. #iubb

Fresno st trying to win in the pit. Up 5

I would love the 3 hrs back I just spent watching Lsu win. That team is a train wreck. They lack effort and besides Simmons court awareness
-
Lsu trying to choke this game away. This team is a train wreck
-
only other time I did that was the year we won the big 10 last when their terrible Purdue team went to Madison and beat wisky on the road
-
@peegs IU signee De'Ron Davis with 14 in first half as Overland rolls in a 5A playoff win today as they defend their state title
-
Dayton loses at home and are in a major funk Good call by Martin on not buying stock in them. Nice call

@espnlunardi ...14-Duke, 15-Utah, 16-IowaSt, 17-TexA&M, 18-Zona, 19-IU, 20-Purd, 21-NDame, 22-Day, 23-Bay, 24-Tex. 25-Cal, 26-Wisc, 27-SoCar, 28-WICH... According to lunardi iu has the 19th best resume as of today

with no dominate team this year they have just as good as shot as anyone else. I agree they do not have that killer instinct and are mentally soft but this tounament is going to wide open
-
what wouldn't be priceless would be to sweep them and beat them in acc tourney but they end up winning the national championship
-
If any have Comcast in the Indy area channel 1010 myndy has the Louisville vs Miami game on at 2

this is where we are different. Us not being in the hunt would not make my watching college basketball less enjoyable but I can understand others who feel differently. As big of fan I am of iu basketball I'm just as big of fan of all college ball. Although I just spent way more money then I should to transfer iu's 87 tounament run from vhs to DVD

they have stated in years past they have contingency plans for teams playing the late games and used examples like wisky last year. If they would of lost the BTT they would of been a 2 seed but since they won they were a 1 seed

Big bubble game on nbcsports at 12:30. Vcu vs George Washington
-
the best day of the year so far in CBB. Thank goodness for multiple TVs in the cave
-
no they have contingency brackets in place depending on the outcome
-
it just all depends on the next 2 games and the big 10 tourney. If people are projected us as a 5 seed with our current resume which is 5 top 50 wins with 2 of those on the road if and this is a big if we win our last 2 games add 2 more 2 25 wins with one of them begin on the road our resume starts looking strong. Then if and it is a big if we added a BTT title as well depending on the 3 games we played you could add 3 more top 50 wins on a neutral court (Purdue is the 8 seed as of today in the BTT). With 10 top 50 wins and 5 of them being away from home I would say the 2 seed would be our best possible seed in my opinion. It would also depend on what the other teams fighting for those higher seeds did as well

This isn't college but Verdell jones is playing on ESPNu in the d league

Random IUBB Recruiting

thanks for the extra info. I didn't know where to put that -
in my opinion they were not a wreck I think they were just trying to figure out how to play without 4 key players from a national runner up team. The 3 home losses to bad teams were by 1,2,2. Lost by 1 at iu and lost on a last 2nd shot to Maryland. I just don't see that as being a wreck but I have no problem with others saying so
-
except for ken Pom's pre season projections which had wisky winning the big 10. Ken Pom's numbers seemed to always favor wisky
