  1. Anyone -- how does an $85,000 guarantee fee compare with years past in the aftermath of the pandemic?
  2. USA with a win over Puerto Rico 87 - 65. Grace Berger 4 pts. and 2 stls.
  3. Another recap of Bank's OV includes quotes from Kaleb and from his mother. https://www.insidethehall.com/2021/06/14/class-of-2022-forward-kaleb-banks-recaps-indiana-official-visit-says-facilities-are-a-players-dream/?fbclid=IwAR3ZykNg3bhz8_eGgp3BVe20vPHZ1EZOlih9svwxBdURmD6GX4CGvIwg6-8

  6. Commentary on Bank's Thursday/Friday OV. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/kaleb-banks-after-iu-visit-they-fit-me-and-i-can-fit-them/
  7. USA totally decimated the Dominican Republic 103-39 in its opening AmeriCup game. Grace Berger had 6 pts; 5 reb and 4 assists in the win. USA plays Puerto Rico tomorrow; Venezuela on Monday; Argentina on Tuesday. On Thursday, they'll presumably play a quarterfinal game.
  8. This is the handout for Louisville's OV's this weekend. Somebody flunked spelling and doesn't know how to use spell checker.
  9. Dan McDonald of Rivals - June 1 marked a big milestone for prospects in the 2022 class as they are finally able to get out and see the schools recruiting them and meet the coaching staff in person after being limited to phone calls, FaceTime and Zoom calls for the past 15 months. Throughout the summer, I’ll be highlighting important visits happening each week. This week, I’m intrigued by Indiana working to get Rivals150 forward Kaleb Banks up for his first official visit. The Georgia native received an offer from the new Hoosiers staff shortly after Mike Woodson hired fellow Georgia native Yasir Rosemond as an assistant coach. Banks holds several offers from ACC and SEC programs as well, but keep an eye on Indiana to pick up some momentum during this visit. Alabama and Georgia Tech, which hosted Banks on Wednesday for an unofficial visit, will also have a shot here. I’m not expecting a commitment any time soon, but it’s a great opportunity for the Hoosiers to gain some serious momentum in his recruitment.
  10. Dan McDonald of Rivals - (No. 42). At 6-foot-10, the Ohio native uses his big, strong frame as well as any prospect I saw this spring to seal off defenders and score from the block. He’s a good athlete with strong hands and soft touch around the rim. He just completed a visit to Illinois. Cincinnati, Dayton, Indiana, NC State, Ohio State and West Virginia have also been involved here. My prediction is those programs and others make him a priority coming out of July.
  11. Rob Cassidy on Xavier Booker from the Pangos camp -- What he did at Pangos: This was my first viewing of Booker, but our Jamie Shaw has long been high on the 2023 prospect. Now I see why. A long, left-handed slasher Booker got buckets in a number of ways this week and showed himself to be a solid rebounder. He’ll need to become a more consistent shooter, but his strength, quickness and ability to finish at the rack are undeniable. Where he might land: Booker holds offers from Kansas State, LSU, TCU and others. He’ll likely see his offer list grow significantly in the month ahead.
  12. William Jobe passed along by The Daily Hoosier - Recruiting : 2024 @WilliamJobe14 is making an unofficial visit to @IndianaMBB this weekend. This 6’9 youngster has offers from Xavier and Auburn. Attends Frederica Academy in St. Simons Island, GA; plays 15U AAU on Team Dickerson (Noah Clowney's 17U team). 13. We barely got to know her and Paige Price is already going back to Australia to be nearer family and to turn pro. Paige Price @paigepriceaus Its a big decision to go home but i have an opportunity to be near family and to go PRO. I will miss all the connections and memories made in my time at IU. No place like home.
  14. From Inside The Hall: Class of 2023 Evangel Christian School center Cyr Malonga did not make an unofficial visit to Indiana yesterday as planned. Had a conflict with summer league games. He's working on getting that visit rescheduled for early next week.
  15. I'll give you older but not so sure about wiser!

  19. 4- star PG Jeremy Fears attends La Lumiere HS and plays AAU for Bradley Beal Elite on the Nike circuit. 247 Rivals From April 30: Jeremy Fears is currently a 4-star recruit and ranked No. 23 nationally by 247Sports. That service lists him as the No. 7 point guard in the class. Even though he's a '23, he's playing 'up' with the Bradley Beal AAU team on the EYBL circuit so hopefully when the EYBL circuit starts we'll be able to get some good stats on him. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-recruiting-class-of-2023-names-to-know-point-guard-jeremy-fears/?fbclid=IwAR3Gj35fLmDmEG52S0zWeNhWqAl6PDWMZ6WHJxahGh8LSXRoYTLfy6WSw8A
  20. All the stats for the Pangos camp have now been posted except for Jalen Hooks' last scheduled game of the camp. Although he was selected for the Top 60 game, his name does not appear in the box score and it may be because he had to get back to the midwest as I think he had a Marquette visit lined up. Neither Avery Brown nor Julian Phillips were selected for either the Top 30 or Top 60 games and Phillips' name does not appear in the box score for his last scheduled game. Pts. 21. Nothing really new and likely won't be for quite some time and then only if Woody and staff decide to pursue him. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/2023-5-star-point-guard-dra-gibbs-lawhorn-enjoying-life-in-utah-as-return-to-basketball-nears/?fbclid=IwAR1YGxQFL7slPZ32ZWOTlE0LCEXjIAFuYcODdCQkfmv2RCznmmwFcnXhAiA
