Chosen by a preseason poll of national college basketball experts, the list is comprised of 50 student-athletes who are the early front-runners for the most prestigious honors in college basketball, the Wooden Award All American Team™ and Most Outstanding Player Award. Last season, Berger was nation's leader in triple doubles while averaging 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and shooting 44.1 percent from the floor. Berger earned WBCA and USWBA All-American honorable mention honors and was also an All-Big Ten first team selection. She scored in double figures 23 times as a junior including seven games scoring 20 points or more. The Louisville, Ky. native and 2021-22 preseason All-Big Ten honoree and 2022 Cheryl Miller Award preseason watch list candidate looks to be the 29th member of IU's 1,000-point club as she enters the 2021-22 season with 996 career points.
