We couldn't stand prosperity and graciously allowed Minnesota to take game 3 of the weekend by kicking our butts 14-2. We used 8 different pitchers; 7 allowed at least 1 hit; 5 of them allowed at least 1 run to score. 14 hits, 6 walks and 6 HBP. On the flip side, we managed just 6 hits; Hanley with 2 of them. Tuesday night we host Indiana State at 6:00. Next weekend we'll be in Lincoln, NE.

Great weekend to be a Hoosier. Women sweep Maryland winning today's game 7-2. Taylor Hess started on the mound but was touched for 2 first inning runs, Mannon pitched 1 inning and Troutt the last 4 and together they scattered 6 hits and walked just 1. Our bats were hot with 10 hits that included 2 HR and 3 doubles. Strader a solo shot in the 4th and Bird a 3-run HR in the 7th. Bird today's RBI leader with 4. #16 Oregon will be in Bloomington Monday evening for a one-night stand scheduled to start at 5:00. Televised on B1G+. Preview Radio Live Stats -

Just realized this morning Washington has his own thread. There have been some posts about him in the'28 Recruiting thread but nothing of particular note so I haven't bothered to move them. Last night New Albany was beaten by Mount Vernon 77-69 in a 4A semistate game. Washington: 22p, 2r, 1a, 1s, 0b, 1t. We have watched him a couple of times this past season but he has yet to receive an IU offer. Hodgepodge of season stats for him: 22 games: 20.7p 14 games: 3.2r 12 games: .9a 11 games: .7s 11 games: .4b 11 games 1.6t Reportedly when we've watched Washington we've also been watching his teammate '29 Karsen Stoudamire. 16 games: 12.9p 13 games 5.4r 11 games 1.0a 11 games 1.0s 10 games: 0b 10 games 1.0t -

Pleasant surprise that our Hoosiers took game 2 of the weekend series 7-2 and will look for a sweep tomorrow at 1:00. Neubeck started and pitched 6 innings giving up 6 hits, 2 BB and charged with 2 MN runs. Vogel and Yarberry closed it out. We scored 5 in the 5th. Ricketts and Decker hit solo HR and Hanley hit a 3-run HR. We had 9 hits total with Landen Fry the only Hoosier to log more than a single hit.

Hoosiers take game 2 of the series 10-2 in a run-shortened game. Kinda odd in that we scored 10 runs and only had 6 hits. But Alex Cooper had a grand slam, Madalyn Strader a solo shot and Avery Parker a 2-RBI triple. Ella Troutt started and pitched 4 scoreless innings but got in trouble in the 5th and Aubree Hooks came on and closed it out. Collectively they only allowed 5 hits and 1 BB. Go for the series sweep tomorrow at noon.
