  1. Shooting woes continue for Al. Only 2 of 13 from the field; 0 for 5 on 3's; scored a total of 5 pts. in 78 - 67 loss to Team CP3. Also had 2 assists and 2 TO's. Must have been an unusually officiated game as Al and 2 of his teammates fouled out as did 1 on CP3.
  2. Romeo Langford - 23 points (8-13FG), 9 rebounds, 4 assists in a win for EG10 over New Orleans Elite.
  3. Watford with 21 on 6 of 12 from the field; 5 of 7 on 3's; 5 reb.; 2 assists; only 1 TO in a 83 - 67 loss to MoKan Elite
  4. From Jeremy Price: There's more to like with Al Durham than the stat line would suggest. Finished with 12 points on 4-17 FGs and 4-5 FTs in 94-71 loss. To elaborate, Durham has good form on FTs/in warmups, just needs work on footwork/preparation in games. Loads of defensive potential. http://scoop.hoosiershq.com/2016/04/durham-waiting-for-shots-to-fall-on-eybl-circuit-iubb/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  5. IMO odds pretty long with Tyra only a junior and Iowa needs help at PG after Jennings' transfer out.
  6. On April 8, it was announced that Jess Walter was transferring to Northern Kentucky and today she announced that was no longer the case. Former Indiana guard Jess Walter is no longer headed to Northern Kentucky following the departure of head coach Dawn Plitzuweit. The University of South Dakota announced today it had hired Plitzuweit, who was formerly an assistant at Michigan. One of the top reasons Walter chose Northern Kentucky was because Plitzuweit had recruited her out of high school in Midland, Mich. “I wanted to announced that I am reopening my recruitment once again, due to Coach Dawn accepting a position elsewhere,” Walter posted on Twitter. “Thank you to Coach Dawn and the staff at NKU for the opportunity. I am still very excited about what the future holds, and I know God has a plan for me through this season of change.” The day after IU was eliminated from the NCAA tournament, Walter announced her intent to transfer. She averaged 2.8 points in 16.4 minutes per game in 2015-16, struggling early in the season after suffering a concussion in practice. Walter is the second recruit from the class of 2014 to leave the program. Six-foot wing Maura Muensterman’s transferred to Belmont after last season. D’Andra Walter, Jess’s mother, said more than 30 schools expressed interest in the sophomore guard when she expressed her intent to transfer. According to the Midland Daily News, Walter’s list of interested schools included Pennsylvania, Memphis, DePaul, Texas Christian, and Florida Gulf Coast.
  7. Last night the Bedford North Lawrence School Board terminated the contract of head basketball coach Jamie Hudson. Are they going to lure Damon back to BNL while his son's in high school?
  8. SMU’s appeal to the NCAA regarding its sanctions in men’s basketball has been denied, the NCAA announced Thursday. There is some justice in the world after all.
  9. Welcome aboard; enjoy your stay. Great group of posters - well, there might be 1 or 2 exceptions!
  10. In some of the cases maybe it will be a slap in the face with a dash of cold reality that they really aren't as good as they may think they are. And maybe some of them will take the message to heart, go back to the gym and work their ass off to improve their game next season. The others will simply blow off what they hear.
  11. Feel badly for him that he can't participate in these all-star events, but selfishly, I want him at 100% when he arrives on campus and not get a late start on conditioning etc., because of the wrist.
  12. Good to know he's found a good post-playing days career.
  13. 5'11 G from Okemos (MI) picked up an IU offer. ESPN (3*)
  14. Gonna reach a point that it will be easier to list the schools that haven't offered. This kid is special; there's no doubt about it.
  15. Initially that was Beilein's stance but he and UM were getting a lot of bad PR and he backtracked fairly quickly
  16. Sources: Fox, Big Ten Closing In On Media Rights Agreement By John Ourand & Michael Smith - Street & Smith Published April 19, 2016 WANT MORE GREAT STORIES LIKE THIS? CLICK ON ONE OF THESE BUTTONS ALREADY A SUBSCRIBER? SEE IF YOU LIKE IT GET IT ALL (PREMIUM ACCESS) Fox is close to signing a deal that gives it half of the Big Ten’s available media rights package, according to several sources. Deal terms still are flexible – both in terms of money and rights. However, the two sides have agreed on basic terms that will give Fox the rights to around 25 football games and 50 basketball games that it will carry on both the broadcast channel and FS1 starting in the fall of '17. The deal runs six years and could cost Fox as much as $250M per year, depending on the amount of rights the Big Ten conference puts in its second package. The Fox deal essentially is half of the package of games that had been with ESPN (as part of a 10-year, $1B deal that expires next spring) and CBS (as part of a 6-year, $72M basketball-only deal that also expires next spring). The Big Ten will return to the market to solicit bids on the second half of the package. The conference has the flexibility to allow for another network or two to pick up that half. ESPN will be one of several TV networks engaged for the second half of the Big Ten’s package, along with the usual suspects of CBS, NBC and Turner. The second package also is expected to include around 25 football and 50 basketball games. The package also could include rights to the football championship games every other year, though sources caution that the rights in the second package are flexible and could include more – or less – games. The conference also is holding back some digital rights that it will offer to digital media companies, sources said. The deal does not include Big Ten Network’s package of rights, which runs to '31-32. Fox already has a relationship with the conference; it owns 51% of BTN. Fox’ deal is a blow to ESPN, which had held most of the conference’s rights previously. Sources said that ESPN presented a non-competitive bid several weeks ago, as the company continues to look for areas to save costs. Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany and Jon Barrett, the conference’s longtime legal counsel, negotiated the deal for the Big Ten, which did not hire an outside media consultant. Fox Sports President Eric Shanks and Exec VP/Business Larry Jones negotiated on behalf of Fox.

  19. Sacramento plans to interview Los Angeles Clippers assistant Mike Woodson for head coach.
  20. Take your cursor and highlight the full link. Right click and click on Open Link in New Tab. That should do it.
  21. My expectation is that if he doesn't commit to us before he leaves Bloomington, he's not coming back unless it's on the visitor's bench.
  22. As much as I tried to follow Langford this past season, I've completely lost track of whether or not we've actually extended him an offer. Surely we have haven't we?
  23. His numbers last season were very consistent and I think he'll be getting a lot more interest over the summer.
  24. Where he ends up is immaterial to me, but you gotta love this cartoon and the caption. That moment you realize Tom Crean may take another one of your players.
