  1. dude hasn't coach basketball since i was in middle school. Basketball has changed since then. Lakers need Young blood to coach.
  2. CatsIllustrated.com - Error You have been banned for the following reason: Rules violations
  3. I'll never watch basketball again if they hire Jackson or JFG. The only people i want to coach my Lakers next year include Walton, Messina, Ollie, Blatt.
  4. WE FINALLY FIRED SCOTT THANK YOU LORD
  5. Albers sources are people he meets at Spots who "know" Troy. Dude is lame.
  6. I agree with this. I imagine Troy will be back once he finds out he's going to need to learn Chinese quick.
  7. Interesting..... It's been fun Priller.
  8. I rather have Troy stay than pick up a Hanner 2.0 Just my opinion but I don't see much in this kid besides Hops.
  9. Told my buddy a few months ago. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pacers picked him up and sent him to Fort Wayne for a year or two.
  10. The kings are horrible. It's a shame they just built that brand new arena for a below average team. If they were smart, they would trade Boogie to my Lakers and call it a day :)
  11. For those wondering if he had a chance at coming back.
  12. This draft class is pretty weak. Pacers could use a big guy and this draft class doesn't really supply that. Johnson from UNC would be interesting.. I could see him fitting in well with the Pacers. He's probably the best big guy available in the mid 20's. I will say this. Pacers will finally get a true PG this season. Mike Conley Jr will be heading back to Indy next year. No doubt in my mind.
  13. Pacers need another star before they make it to the finals. The problem is, it's Indiana. Not many great free agents want to play in a small market area.
  14. Laker fan here, I've watched probably 70 of their games this year. Tanking was our best choice. Also, Randy Wittman got fired tonight. Go get him Crean!
  15. I wouldn't be surprised either. All is other offers were mid majors.
  16. He will for sure need to add 10-15 pounds of weight. Kid is a stick. I'm not expecting much from this kid next year. Wouldn't be surprised if he's not even in the rotation. Grew up a Duke fan. We shall see. I'm expecting Matt Roth 2.0
  17. Evidently the rookie contracts are staying the same with the salary cap going up.
  18. That will really help us. Playing some better teams that early will help Crean decide our PG situation along with sort of rotation we might see down low with Byrant-Davis-Morgan-OG.
  19. Depends on the team and the agent selling his player to the franchise. At this point, he needs to land a guaranteed contract to make any money next year. Let's say he gets drafted with the 40th overall pick. I assume if the team really like hims, he would get a 2 year team deal around 1.4.-1.8 million dollars. If that happens, he will most likely start out with the teams D-League squad while still making that big guaranteed contract money. If he goes undrafted, then he obviously can't come back to school. His best hope would be to land a summer league team invitation and impress there. I'm a huge Lakers fan and i wouldn't be surprised if we brought him and Yogi in for a summer workout. I think last year we brought in around 30-40 guys.
  20. Playing Kansas will be a great test. Give us UNC in the ACC Big Ten match up as well. Anything to make our schedule harder!
  21. According to his behavior out around Bloomington at night and his most recent Instagram post, I'd say he's banking on the NBA. Troy has a number of things to work on before being a third string on an NBA team. Summer workouts will be here before you know it and the deadline to go back to college will also be here before you know it. Troy better be in the gym night and day if he wants to earn a guaranteed contract. At this point, he will be making 13K a year next year in the D-League.. And I'm not even sure about that. College > 13K a year
  22. Let's say Troy stays. Is Priller gone then if Freddie Commits?
  23. Many NBA scouts are saying he will be in the second round. However, according to Woj, he could work his way up to the first round. I guess a few NBA teams really like him.
  24. Unless Williams wants to use his foreign language skills overseas and make some money, I'm not sure why he would go pro. He would struggle to even get PT in the D-League. He needs to improve on a number of things before I can call him a NBA basketball player. Hell, he's not even projected in the mock drafts. He should come back. As hard as it is to say, we would be better with him back. Not sure how he's been here 4 years now and still struggles with most of the same things. If he comes back, his shot, ball handling, court vision, and IQ needs to improve. Improve those things, then maybe we can get your name into the mock drafts. He improved over the past season, but there's a reason why everyone knows about good Troy vs bad Troy
  25. RoJo CuJo we need another Johnson, someone call Peter Jurkin up.
