  1. Can’t leave 21 potential points off the board against a top 10 team or the rest of the Big10 East.
  2. That’s a fumble - killer
  3. Lot of season left but he’s cost himself quite a bit of money through 3 games
  4. They are just pinning their ears back and coming after Penix and daring him to beat them. Runs up the middle aren’t going to work
  5. I’m not a conspiracy guy but Cincy is getting a lot of the benefit of doubt from the zebras
  6. IU needs to win if only to shove it in Ridder’s face. He’s doing a lot of chirping out there
  7. That’s roughing the passer in the NFL but that’s another weak call. I didn’t think CFB had the body weight rule
  8. Going out on a limb here and we at the very least have the better kicker in this game
  9. Offensive line is getting beat on rushing plays unlike the first quarter
  10. IU special teams - no bueno
  11. Depth at that linebacker spot is definitely a question mark. Blitzes haven’t even gotten close
  12. The WR reverse that lost yards. Their ends have been rushing hard and containing the pocket all game. Will be tough to run outside of those guys. The one end looks huge and far too quick
  13. Quite the downgrade from McFadden isn’t it. Going to be rough if you blitz with Allen all half and he can’t get home
  14. The ejection should be reevaluated in my opinion. Targeting was intended to eliminate head hunting from the game which I can’t disagree with but it’s becoming ridiculous
  15. Need to get back to running the ball like they were in the first quarter. I’d expect Cincy to make the adjustment and not flinch on IUs line shifting. They are going to score. IU offense needs to carry their own weight. Winnable game - just need to answer
  16. Momentum is squarely with Cinci. Need to force a FG and come out with a drive to start the second half or there will be some chewed fingernails all second half for us Hoosier fans
  17. Targeting has gotten stupid. Intent should be a consideration.
  18. Can't even believe this is a debate. A high level recruit with NFL aspirations post-college wanting to get a headstart on his football career at our school of choice and there is pushback of growing up too soon so he can enjoy his senior prom and a graduation walk? What alternative reality did I just enter?
  19. Totally agree which is why I questioned the quibbling over the word needs. In basketball we always marvel at the body differences that players have when they get into Clif Marshall's weight program. In a sport that's even more reliant on strength and conditioning, getting players into that system and environment earlier would only be to their advantage even if missing out on some of those end of high school events. Just my $0.02
  20. Amen. He'd benefit greatly from being on campus early, as would most, if not all recruits
  21. Wording is super vague. Does joining the team later this season mean early enrollee after the conclusion of his HS season or actually joining the team and suiting up. My assumption would be the former, but what do I know. Other than the Quinn Ewers, who was a special case due to NIL, how often do football recruits reclassify?
  22. Pardon me for not scrolling through 14 pages worth of posts, but is JHS expected to be a one and done type? Obviously highly ranked, but curious on what's the expectation of how long he'd be in college, regardless of school?
  23. Limiting the non-conference opponents would be counterintuitive to boosting SOS though, no? Until the playoffs are expanded that would seem unwise, at least to me. I've admittedly haven't followed the expansion talks too closely, but playing the Pac-12, outside of a school or two wouldn't exactly shine on the resume. ACC is sort of the same way until Florida St can return to its normal self, Clemson and ND and UNC every so often are the marquee opponents.
  24. Doubt this is what the administration envisioned when they fired Pelini when he was only winning 9 games a season. Hate to see it
