    This, there's already enough tape on him from this season alone that you can get into his head and he'll react. Big10 teams will attempt to cash in it. Was something my dad said he did on the high school level, I can only assume that would/will happen on this level. Hopefully he can get that under control, as the backups aren't nearly as effective when X plays like he can, but last night he was brutal

    Firmly believe it's a combination of being from Indiana as a 5* recruit and since he reclassed early he's not held to as high of standard. The recruit from Indiana mantra, after all, was cited as a reason Archie would succeed many a times.

    Thank you! TJD is an All-American and most definitely is an Archie guy. Without him we'd be far worse off

    Fair enough - those were admittedly rough - but those teams got hot from the field and never cooled off. We were up 20 then played not to lose. Just pathetic

    Thus the problem. X can get downhill when Phinisee can't/won't. I'm confident Lander can't guard well enough against Big10 guards and when I watch on offense he looks tentative and trying to avoid the mistakes. We have little choice to throw X out there if he's not in foul trouble, which he can easily be baited into. We need better PG play pronto. Can JHS reclassify like now? So frustrating

    That, personally, will never happen for me. I'd hop on the Gonzaga or Duke train, or anyone else, before that I'd ever cheer on Purdue

    I highly doubt that Archie would have the kind of guards coming in that Woodson does. Not that those guards will save this mess that's been going on, but Archie was a deadman walking on the recruiting trail. Not throwing in the towel, but that was one of the most frustrating iU losses I've seen the past few years

    X - 4/16 from the field. 2/6 from the line. He shot 5 times in a row I believe. Not sure there's much of a plan if the ball can't get into TJD

    I thought X was going to make a difference, but he's been brutal since the St John's game. Can't win with this kind of PG play

    So sad, our basketball IQ is still not great. The 20 point game from X seems ages ago

    We have a couple guys that are easy to bait when it gets chippy. Teams are going to pick up on that and make a point to get under our skin

    There's been more good Rob than bad Rob, especially in the second half, but there's no denial that he's slow with the ball. That's why X is such a difference maker when he can remain on the floor

    I thought he had two years of eligibility left. Where would he go? Re-enter the portal? He's not an NBA guy in my mind as of right now

    Let's hope that JHS can stay on the court then. Need someone who can stay on the court as X has shown an inability to do so.

    Not sure if anything should be read into where people sit on the bench, but Lander being so far down the line has me wondering if something happened during practice. Him not seeing the floor yet, and Leal getting in before him, is interesting to me

    Nebraska 1-10 from 3. If they heat up we could be in trouble if don't stop turning the ball over and find a way to get TJD going

    Oh X only just got his 2nd? They must have given one to someone else when I thought for sure he fouled a shooter

    I'm not sure if this was intended to be a response to me, but Phinisee has 0 of those 10. I was just commenting on how slow he is with the ball. Was slow to swing it around the key then followed it up with dribbling out the shot clock and forced that contested shot that was an airball (which could be credited as a turnover, imo).
