Being that demonstrative on court is a new thing, at least to me. In the past, while the kid unfailingly competes his a** off, his demeanor has always been almost stoic. Clearly he’s been challenged to be a more vocal leader, and I’m not sure that comes to him naturally. But, athletically, yeah, he’s just unusual. There aren’t a lot of kids with that tool kit.

I will flat out admit that as recently as early last year I did not think he was the guy. Have always been of the opinion that if you hire someone for a gig and no one else would hire them for a comparable one, and CTA wasn’t getting a power 5 HC job anywhere else, you’re probably the one who’s wrong. Couldn’t be happier to have been wrong. The man is a leader and he has seeded this program with kids that it’s impossible not to be proud of. Hell of a job, Coach.

I reached out to the school last week and as of then they were planning on allowing 20% capacity into a gym that seats, if I remember it correctly, about 2500. So 500 or so. Chaminade streams their home games, so unless the season completely blows up here, not exactly unlikely, we should be able to see Reed at least a couple of times. Really want to see Brown and Troutman.

Love this for an early season game. A legit post player. A wing who can get his own shot. A tough, physical roster that will compete for 40 mins. And 1 of the best coaches in the country. Love it.

Amazing. There have been guys making business decisions tackling the Maryland RB all game and on the 3 they fake it to him and try to get to the edge.
