  1. Goode is absolutely shooting lights out in B1G play
  2. I really can’t overstate how much I hate the dorks at Purdue.
  3. 40 minutes of effort. That’s all I want. And whole pile of Ballo made free throws. But I’m a simple man.
  4. We’re gonna need Stu to make a rehab thread for us after he actually gets canned.
  5. I mean acting like Purdue fans were all okay with Painter getting more time is revisionist history lol, they had a completely fractured fanbase of Sainters VS Ainters. It worked out for them, cool, but it wasn’t some smooth line to him not getting fired or leaving for another job.
  6. It’s far more nuanced than that, and I suspect he knows that. Firing Crean was the right move. Hiring Archie didn’t work out, it is what it is. I thought Archie would win. He didn’t. I thought Mike Woodson would set us back another stretch, and he has. Conflating Archie not working and Woodson not working is just as obtuse as ignoring everything but the good with TC. I do applaud your patience with the double speak bad faith arguments where the goal posts move like when Vandy beat Bama last year lol
  7. To paraphrase/plagiarize Hova from the other day, we are getting into SEC levels of hypothetical coaches and their hypothetical success as HC of IU lol
  8. Do you even like IU? Honestly, most of your time is spent calling the fans delusional, reiterating that good coaches won’t leave jobs for IU, shilling for a bad coach (until recently), and putting forth candidates that shouldn’t be on the IU radar. IU would be dragged in the media for hiring Wade and we would deserve it. Do you want that? We don’t need someone to be the intellectual authority on what IU can do or what constitutes a “realistic” candidate in your view. Everyone here knows Stevens is a long shot, but until it’s a NO, I see no harm in people on a forum having hope/fun with it. No one needs someone to come in and laugh and act like we are dumb for thinking it. If I wanted to be made fun of for have high hopes I’d find a Purdue board to post in. If being a wet blanket on fellow IU fans makes you happy I guess do you, but it makes no sense to anyone.
  9. So if he stayed NBA you’d guess only on the bench?
  10. This may not be an answerable question, but part of my skepticism for Brad comes from his value if the new ownership did something stupid and let him walk. What is the barometer on being a GM elsewhere? If he found himself unemployed due to new owners, I have a hard time believing he wouldn’t be at or near the top of every open coaching or GM job target list in perpetuity. I guess what I’m asking is, do we think he’s an NBA guy now, or does IU have the kind of emotional or familial pull to overcome that? I dunno, like I said probably not answerable, but it’s been on my mind in regards to Brad given the “timing” seems about as perfect as it could be this time.
  11. I would love to see Illinois go down at Corn West.
  12. Not sure if you work in aviation or some other form of LEO/Invest, but just wanted to say nice post and provide some dork information for anyone interested in flight tracking that I think is pretty cool... Flight tracking for GA (general aviation) can be, by request, blocked from transmittal to flightaware, flightradar, et. al. via an FAA LADD request. LADD is Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed. It can now be done online (used to be email/regular mail), and can be removed (unblocked) and added (blocked) on request by the aircraft owner or legal representative. It is a fairly straightforward process. The FAA processes these requests on the first Thursday of each month, and if generally submitted early in the previous month, will go into effect. So, for example, if Pfau knew he had a meeting with BS in Boston on December 20th, and wanted that flight information to remain private, a request to block on like 5 November will prevent us from tracking it, and can subsequently remove the block if so chosen. You could also not bother, and let the people conjecture on purpose (my favorite thought and personal choice as a resident IU tinfoil hat lol). Now, that said, it is not fool proof (FBOs can be leaky with cool info) or if you had access to non-public flight data from ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast)-- but that data can be somewhat sketchy so to speak and requires access to other systems. And of course, said rich person may simply not care, but it is fairly common amongst the billionaire types for privacy purposes. 13. Ahh makes sense. I just remember watching them thinking no way this team scores enough to avenge the 16 loss.
  14. I would be really interested in the final adjusted defensive and offensive efficiency of each winner. I would guess most finish with a Top-20 Defense and Offense or there abouts. I would guess outliers with high offensive ratings and low defensive ratings end up getting bounced before or in the final four (Alabama last year). I wonder if UVAs title run would be the inverse since their offense could not have finished too high.
  15. "You people would have just run him off before he got it going if he coached at IU." -Haterz, Probably
  16. Yea I am pretty sure Purdue was his only P4 offer. I don't think he even took an OV to IU. I remember Butler offered him too I think. Edit: Looked it up, I was mistaken, Butler never offered I guess.
  17. It is a mystery. Just keep posting.
  18. Hova with an absolute masterclass in helpful forum moderation lmaoooo. Also you have possibly had to read way too many HR "Staff All" emails.
  19. I’m gonna need someone to explain to a feeble minded fan such as myself if this constitutes “Groundswell.”
  20. I remember reading some things about that on some MSU sites but wasn’t gonna speculate. Not surprised.
  21. This was what I was thinking. A long time Izzo underling and supposed HC in waiting (although I’m not sure I believe that) hasn’t been hired? On the surface it looks like he either doesn’t wanna coach, or no one wants him. I’m sure it’s possible he doesn’t wanna leave Bloomington for his family or maybe even hoping for a job on the next staff, but it seems odd for a guy who people repeatedly say “wants to coach” selling insurance or whatever lol
  22. If those are your favorite notes for palate you would really like it, I have never had a problem ordering it direct from their website. Nose is very fruity. I usually do 2 at a time. It is kinda their "new" mass produced one, it is not as old so also not as hot. Heavy on the rye as well. I don't care for too many above like 110 proof to be honest. Foundation is 100 and the only one they make at that proof I think. I do like one of theirs thats 114, but that is way too expensive for me to enjoy more than every so often lol Edit: I am also a simpleton when it comes to bourbon. It is my favorite liquor so I just trial and error. I but one I havent had in my price range and if I like it, I add it to the cabinet. This one has been my favorite since I randomly bought it at total wine like a year ago lol.
  23. Barrel Foundation is probably my favorite. I order one every so often from their website. For 54 bucks you cant beat it.
  24. Imagine getting doxed, and subsequently challenged to a duel. You have disparaged me for the final time Silence Dogood!
  25. Defending free speech for burners??? Old Fart is the burner brigade confirmed. And you thought you could get away with it! Shut it down folks, I have solved the mystery.
