You play the best lineup, the one that will get the most wins, stars be damned. it’s not great for recruiting if MM doesn’t play much but UK, Duke, KU etc all have had 5* kids sit their bench and it hasn’t hurt them winning matters - it’s the most visible thing anyone can point to regarding a program

I think we play an 8 man rotation with mostly big lineups, only because 5 of our 8 best are forwards or centers. Gunn and Banks play cigar minutes Ware: 12.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2 blocks. Reneau: 9.5 points, 5.1 rebounds. Mgbako: 11.5 points, 4 rebounds, 1.5 assists Galloway: 10.5 points, 3 rebounds, 4.2 assists X: 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists Cupps: 5.5 points, 2 rebound, 2.5 assist Walker: 4.5 points, 2.5 rebounds Sparks: 6 points, 4 rebounds gunn: 2.5 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist Banks: 1.5 points, 1.5 rebounds.

Cherry picking a few points against a high school level team doesn’t make him better than Tamar Bates. not sure if there was anyone in D-1 last year that had a poorer shooting percentage than him but sadly that wasn’t what kept him on the bench behind Bates , it was his D or the lack thereof - per one of the assistants

That could describe Jordan Geronimo and many others. Gunn hasn’t had a good game yet, Bates at least had 6+ good games for us last year being one of our top scorers while shooting over 50% while doing it In those games. Gunn, not yet

What have you seen from Gunn to say that?

All true but doesn’t make him wrong - he’s been pretty darn accurate

X, Gallo, MM and Ware can all shoot 3’s. No reason for us to struggle there. Not saying we won’t have issues but we shouldn’t.

It’s always nice to have senior leadership on the bench - that second unit is where most teams lack leadership and seems like he will do that for us

It’s all relative. I too expect us to come out a little out of sorts given the turnover but it can’t be IU vs IPFW type of bad. Someone posted concerns over 3 point shooting and that is the last thing I am concerned about. We should have 4 guys on the court at all times that can drain 3s which is going to be a big upgrade

You don’t need a complaint from the new property owner. It’s trespassing if he didn’t have the right to be there and at 2:30am I don’t think he was invited there.

If ware is anywhere close to a sophomore Jared Jeffries we are in for an awesome season

It’s just really difficult for some to say, “man, the kid made some poor decisions” and leave it at that without coming up with crazy conspiracy theories and hypotheticals that aren’t rooted in either the MMs report nor the police. those people are pissing him off too:)

Was the trespass for Taco Bell or the other place of business?

This actually happened to me the other day at Domino’s. I prepaid on the app for delivery, the food never arrived so I went there and waited. When they eventually handed me my food I asked them to remove the delivery fee and tip they charged my card and they said they couldn’t. instead of standing there and screaming obscenities at them, I drove home and found the customer service hotline and filed my complaint and they sent me a voucher for a free order. there are ways to handle things and the kid didn’t handle it correctly across the board, even by the story you shared vs the police report. it is not a huge deal but many trying their hardest to find a loophole or “what if” to make his actions ok or to try to pin this on someone else is beyond me and several others here.
