(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA

Is there any reason to believe Stewart might come back into the mix for us? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Well said. I think some have similar concerns but just aren’t articulating them We have enough depth, experience and talent to put it together to make some noise in March. Maybe we aren’t final four Duke material yet but no reason this team cannot make it to the second weekend of the tourney. Maybe we can keep eaking out painful/close games but not a great recipe. Need to see more growth in our offense soon Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Content with our record at 8-2, pretty much where I expected us to be. Not stoked but not pissed. Where I am left shacking my head is our offense. Free throw shooting, valuing the ball, lack of fast breaks, lack of movement, low scoring etc. I just don’t know what we are trying to do. It’s ugly to say the least. It’s just hard to see what it is even supposed to look like which is hard. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

He was announced but the PA announcer screwed it up; it was hard to understand him and he got some facts wrong “blocked Carlos boozer in the win against Kentucky” etc. The biggest applause came from the non student sections as many students don’t remember him and understandably so, he was a bulldog but he wasn’t Jared Jefferies. History only remembers the stars Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Hard to believe he hasn’t been to a game since. He hung around IU for years after he graduated Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Nobody said they didn’t. They played their best ball in a stretch in the middle of the season. Frankly there was nowhere but up from how we started and things started to come together mid season only to peak there Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

You said played our best ball down the stretch so I chose to look at the stretch. It sounds like you are saying we played our best ball in the middle of the season now which is different then the end. The stretch or end was not good Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Ive heard other people say this to, but how are you defining “played our best ball down the stretch”? From January 24th on we were 4-7 and looked horrible in our final game against a bottom feeder. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky

As good as Brooks and TJD are, they aren’t as good as Romeo and Morgan. So, where are we getting better? This assumes other players make big leaps which could happen but we didn’t see it from 17 to 18 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
IUBB vs Northwestern - 12/1 @ 1:00 ET

Proud of the team for closing without Juwan in there. I was really excited for Justin Smith this year and have been wildly disappointed. The team so much better when he is not in there Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

I’ve been asking this in several threads and haven’t seen a response so I will ask again. In all sincerity, what is Archie’s system? What are his tent poles that we should all look for and expect out of his teams? I thought at worst we would see a team that values the ball, plays hard and makes their free throws but haven’t seen that. I don’t see a system to our offense or defense, seems very out of whack Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Free throws are a huge part of the game and should not be ignored in practice. They need to work with the players on form and repetition to build that muscle memory and more importantly, do it during and at the end of practice when they are sweaty and tired because that is a reality in a game. Shooting free throws on your own time is good too but doesn’t have the same impact as the above. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

A little premature regarding the last comment. We have one recruit right now and need some difference makers ASAP. We have zero currently Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Agree for the most part except I felt IU had an identity under Crean. It was a fast pace under Crean where we tried to outgun the opponent ever night. If we played at home and got running we could beat anyone. If our opponent forced us into the half court or played a zone we were beatable. There was a brand. Albeit a flawed brand but I knew what we were, good or bad. I don’t know what our brand is or who we are. What are we good at? What do we stand for under Archie? No use in emailing the guy you want fired, he’s isn’t going to resign:) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

What? No, smh, there was no sign of fight nor any sign of Archie clearly seeing where our flaws exist. What does that even mean? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

It was pretty obvious that pressing us was the Achilles heal and they have done it well. What was our gameplan? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

What is an Archie Miller team? That is an honest question. If there was an ideal Archie team, what would that be known for? I have watched him for years and have zero answers Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Edit, we can’t even pass along the perimeter without turning it over. How is that possible? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

The biggest concern I have is “what are we?” What is our style or identity as a team under Archie? I really have no idea. Zero. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Hard to imagine not being up for this but that’s the case. If I see Justin Smith with negative effort again I will turn this off. I can accept a lot but lack of effort in a game like this is just unacceptable Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
