No excuse. But something caused MM to lose it. But we don't know what tripped him up. Did he have words with the Taco Bell order taker and/or the server at the window? Probably. He wasn't happy. Probably they weren't very...ahem...positive about the disagreement. The agendas of each party were not compatible. Got personal. Got to him and he lost it. I also speculate that the Belle in the Taco window lost it, too. Welcome to the Twilight Zone, MM. We're not in Joisey, anymore.

There are, no doubt, quite a few people biting into an unripe persimmon this morning. I was really smart back when I was 17. And nothing mattered...right?! When I was 19, I found out just how smart I wasn't. And, oh boy, it mattered greatly. 50+ years later...still wonder, really, how smart I am, and we are. It still matters...especially for those youngsters. Growing pains. Best wishes to those tasting that green persimmon.

There's a question...will Gunn make a jump from Freshman to Sophomore on the court? Similar to the questions that could be, and are being, asked about Every. Single. Player. On. The. Indiana. Men's. Basketball. Team. Not to mention questions about Coach Woody's and the staff's substitutions, play styles, adaptions, development of players, bench depth, guards, shooting, defense, teamwork, & etc. We could write a book listing and trying to think through variations and answers to those questions. We are in for a roller coaster year. And who is popping for Peacock and BTN+? And can I come over for the games? Have bourbon and beer. Will travel.

Now, for the predictions on the 2nd half: Rutger does not score again. Indiana scores 10 points and wins the game: 24 - 17. That would mean that I picked both the scores correctly. -

Marketing a delayed intangible is a really gut-wrenching job. If the seller cannot use persuasive closing and get a signature immediately does anyone except the buyer really know what will happen later? I found that in the case of a delayed intangible, the entity with the longest track record and success and a larger market share is hard to beat. Personalities can help a lot. Finding out what makes the buyer tick is paramount. And doing that with 18-years old recruits and family would be a challenge. Buyers seem to gravitate to the known entity. Gotta find one's own nitch...and scratch and develop and get back up and do it again...and again. Become the known entity in your market. Pointing to Fino and TJD does seem compelling. Compare that to the successes of others. Good luck Coach Woody and staff. It ain't over until it's over.
