Secret weapon: IU learned how to win last game. Know your opponent. Extend our defense just past the 3 line. Mess with MD's guards. That is their major asset...their guards. And that playing with hair on fire sure seems like the thing to do. All. Freakin'. Game. That plus IU has a coach. MD doesn't. Actually, IU has a whole bunch of coaches.

I've got cold feet. IU has a tough time on the road. MD has 2 very good guards and Phin is out. We don't win, historically, at MD. No one really likes being anywhere inside the DC beltway. And Coach Woody won't wear a suit on the road. But IU is going to win this. IU uses all our secret weapons... We defend the three. Mess with their guards. Xavier has a great day. TJD gets enough touches and finishes every single shot. Race gets 12 rebounds and a double double. Kopp has game. Stew shows his stuff. Lander does come in for 4 minutes and never makes a mistake. And Coach Woody yells at the refs! Take it to the bank!

Indiana 73 Turtle Soup 65 Maryland seeks new coach. John Feinstein only throws spaghetti against the wall: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaabk/maryland-must-hire-the-right-men-e2-80-99s-basketball-coach-here-e2-80-99s-where-to-start/ar-AATcvUJ?ocid=uxbndlbing -
Stop with the pearl clutching, IU fans. I have inside knowledge that Coach Woody is changing the starting lineup. Our point guard will play like I. Thomas did to lead the team to the National Championship way back when. Our shooting guard will be better than Alford with Moye's athleticism. Smooth forward is a combo between Scottie May and Rick Calloway. Power forward will play like George McGinnis. Center will be similar to Jared Jeffries and Kent Benson. All in their prime I may add... And Coach Woody has gotten rid of the suit he wore against UM. I never lie. And I always tell the truth. By the way...every darn game is a must win. Always. \ If a player is on the court...he must play his best.

Indiana vs Undue Purversity, Thursday, 7:00 pm
Dave from Dayton replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I agree. Posted a question about this in another thread. Is TJD ready for prime time? He was apparently rubbing his hip before the game...according to one poster. I agree he seemed to be slapping at the ball more than usual and that brings on a foul call. Anyone have insight? -
Amazing stat from last night
Dave from Dayton replied to RaceToTheTop's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
The box scores, points per player, minutes played, etc. are the absolute weirdest I have seen in an IU win. But I do wonder if TJD was operating at 100%. Is he ok? Heard he was rubbing his hip during warmup. And he really didn't have his thinking cap on when he came back in and started slapping at the ball handler's arms. Kind of like he was asking for the 3rd foul to be called. The 4th foul seemed BS to me. Really want to know if he is ready for prime time. -
I really think that they ought to fix the roof of SSAH because it leaks. Really is a bad visual when it storms on the court. Players could get injured. Slipping and sliding and getting concussions or cussed at.. And that happened with the previous head coaches waaay too much. Lots of water on the court can ruin the wood. And where would be be if our woodies were ruined? Or if Coach Woody, heaven forbid, got immersed in the deluge of negativity. That would be rotten, too. So they ought to fix that thing. Oh.... Fans excited and run onto the court after a big win against our in-state lil brother after this program has been in the doldrums for how many decades? Nevermind.

Phab Phin Phu**s Phurdoo! Do I remember this right? Near the end of the 1st half, time is running out on the shot clock. IU misses and Phin grabs the rebound underneath the basket. Can't shoot up..covered. Dribbles out the right side of the lane to the 3 line. Shoots! HITS!! The composure on Phin and the clutch play...been yearning for this with him. To say that I'm surprised...yeah...mostly. Pleased...yeah. Relieved...true. POTFB! A team win! Indiana has now knocked off 2 top 5 teams this season. Weapons: Guard Play; defense; team play; low turnovers. Props to Galloway, Durr, Xavier, Geronimo, Race and Coach Woody!
