    Has to be a big loss as Woody was on him for a long time plus his friendships with other recruits. We saw him at the Iowa game last year, and Best of luck to him.

    How many Hyper legends wouldn’t want that? Free education for making the team one year. Compared to millions for another player for the same commitment.

    After last year, we should have learned to never bank a scholly. Never. It’s like self penalizing your team, fans, and alumni because you don’t understand attrition or injuries. Reward a walk-on or find a Hyper stud but please use it. I shouldn’t even be saying this if we ever hope to win big again.

    Only when it comes to paying players. Wooden bagman was legendary kinda like Indiana’s NIL. Let’s see how many National Champs Woody hangs?

    That ended when he came back. Our problem now is that Wooden cannot coach and if he doesn’t win again this year; it will be his last.

    Crean coached 6/1000 point scores on one team and couldn’t get to a final four. Did less with more unlike any other.

    Can’t hide behind wait til next year when you have the fans, history and now NIL behind this program. The biggest benefit will be to us and these 10 year Crean like rebuilds that won’t sell. This will be Woody’s year 3 with NIL and his last to prove his coaching chops. Either win bigger than he has shown to be able to do or next person up. I will be patiently waiting.

    We would have already been out of the running without NIL. Now, non cheating schools like IU has the same opportunity as the always cheaters. We just need a coach to match our Yankees like salaries.

    Surprised to hear since Indiana ownership belongs to Painter. Plus, with portal Purdue can easily add. Believe it or not I’m an Indiana grad and love all that is IU except our coaching choices less Sampson. The administration won’t let Indiana win and hires always reflect this.

    Getting thrown out late after getting blitzed by 30 the third time in one year to Nebraska can only be outdone by Mike Davis refusing to coach a game after getting his feelings hurt by the same fans. Woodys teams are unprepared and always outcoached. Indiana needs to finally get a good men’s basketball coach.
