Bring back the bank shot! The use of the glass is very underrated or utilized. -

He doesn’t have the same size as Bird but similar attributes. He reminds me of our very own Ted Kitchel which is a huge compliment. -

When’s the last time we battled it out with Kansas for any recruit let alone a 5 star? And won? Just shows power of NIL and how now all the blue bloods can participate. Best of Luck, Liam, whichever school you choose. -
(2022) - SG C. J. Gunn to DePaul

Repetition of set shots will do wonders and helped Galloway this year. CJ elevates too much on 3’s and seems to be shooting on the way down. Clean this up and reps, reps, reps! -
I would guess we have as good a shot as anyone. He’s played us and knows the history = $ and we need a shooter.

2023 SF/PF Mackenzie Mgbako to Texas A&M via Portal

Read below from Tom Brew at FanNation. Perhaps he explains it better than me. I would also note that cheating and Kansas go hand in hand unlike at Indiana. They paid Hoosier farm boys from the 30’s to No class/get degree from Coca Cola Roy to the latest Adidas cheating on tape. While not as prolific as Kentucky or UCLA with Wooden, Kansas comes in a close third to the other 2. Many thought Kansas was the front-runner, and that they could outbid Indiana in this new NIL world. That didn't happen. Indiana's NIL system is in place, and solid. They did more than enough to make Mgbako about coming to Bloomington and playing for the Hoosiers. "It works hand in hand with the decision," he said during his ESPN interview. "You get paid for what you love to do. Indiana has great NIL opportunities." -

Welcome to Indiana basketball MM! Just think less than 2 years ago, we wouldn’t have had a chance with him. Kansas would have and they never stopped cheating since their 1988 championship. We didn’t since ours but this NIL puts us on the same playing field as the biggest cheaters in clouding Kansas, UK, and the rest of the SEC. We will continue to win more of these recruiting battles moving forward. -

“You ain’t cheating if you ain’t trying” vs NIL and Indiana basketball wins. -

Congratulations Woody and welcome Kel! Indiana loves basketball and NIL levels the recruiting field. -
Thank God Myles Brand is not on my diploma!

He’s on our recruiting board, we have a zoom meeting, and there is mutual interest. I also happen to really like his game. Are you just targeting me or does your comment add anything of relevance?

This kids balls hope we get him.

It’s coming the Knight curse has been over for a couple of years now.

Here’s what I love about the Shedrick to IU post even if not completely accurate. The NIL gives Indiana a fair opportunity to get some of these 5 stars and stud transfers without the obvious old time cheating that UNC, Duke, UK, and SEC has always done. It levels the $ playing field making it really about basketball, the school and the fans. Now Indiana adds the cash to what’s it’s always had so look the f out. Also, didn’t this guy just declare on Monday? Nobody sleeping on Woody and it appears he knows how to play the NIL game. Keep closing Mr NBA!

Good luck Jordan. Work on your handles and your shot; you have the athletic ability to keep playing. Reminds me of Dominique Wilkins and he had a long NBA career.

Great pickup and I believe he starts from day 1; see Miller Kopp rule and main reason he committed to us. Banks starts at the 3 with Reneau at 5 and Galloway & X at guards. Geronimo and whomever else from portal off the bench first for bigs along with the two freshmen guards. I think Tamar left as Banks becomes a more valuable piece to the puzzle. Welcome to Indiana Payton!

Haven’t seen a sky hook since and Kent Benson before. Some of those IU teams were very challenged athletically but had the General carving teams up.
