  1. I still love this...[attachment=3055:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1450036771.141811.jpg] Laron Landry looks totally legit.
  2. AAAARRRRRRRR NATEE. Seriously, that's a football player.
  3. I'm totally changing my name to Monquavion.
  4. They do serve alcohol in the suites, Stadium Club, and Henke Hall. There was talk of a small rooftop section on top of the new SEZ expansion when completed...I assume that would be a good trial area for a beer garden type thing. Who knows though.
  5. Zander will likely be on the bench again. Lagow is being brought in to start. He would have to flame out pretty bad to not get the job. It appears both of those guys you mentioned are looking elsewhere.
  6. The basketball allotment for students per game is 7800. They accept more requests than that but usually cap it at around 12,000. So, students don't get every game. AH's capacity is 17,472. The football student section is capped at like 11,600. It was mentioned before the Ohio State game, because we made more tickets available. We could actually fit more students in there though, because they all stand and cram into the main block (and in between rows). That's why there were empty seats at the OSU game. It's a free for all.
  7. Maybe 10,000 at the most?
  8. Capacity is 52,929. If we are in the mid to high 50s, we are doing pretty darn well, as we would be selling a ton of standing room tix. We're already in the mid 40s.
  9. Ease his pain...
  10. Does anyone release turnstile numbers anymore?
  11. We had a year or two in the 80s where we averaged over 50k. There is interest. As much as I complain about our fans, attendance could be MUCH worse. We got 22k in the DiNardo era. Now we're doing 44k. Hell, look at Northwestern now. They are pretty successful and still no one shows up.
  12. Up 6% to 44,314. Only game under 40k was the first one (tix sold, obviously). We sold out for OSU and had 49k for UM. While they and Iowa traveled well, I actually thought IU fans showed up well. No one took over, although the Iowa fans got loud at the end. Rutgers game wasn't that great of a turnout. http://www.wdrb.com/story/30697233/bozich-tale-of-the-football-turnstiles-at-u-of-l-uk-iu-wku
  13. I don't think he missed a game at UAB. Guys get hurt.
  14. Lynch, while I liked the guy, took the team on a downward trend after Hep's momentum. Wilson is building the program up, and we haven't recruited like this in forever. Also, when's the last time we played such consistently competitive football against the best in the conference? Remember 83-30?
  15. He's going to be extended. You can't recruit with only 2 years left. You either have to move on or extend, and it would be asinine to fire him. Illinois is (rightfully) being ripped because they took the interim tag off their coach and gave him 2 years. They're basically in purgatory now. If Wilson has 4-5 years on his contract, we can continue our recruiting momentum. Also we are not a "high profile" program.
  16. While you're doing that, spring for 1 (or 2) for me...and a hotel...and a plane ticket. TIA!
  17. Knorr will get another year.
  18. For some reason, "cool dad" has me cracking up. It's perfect (and I'm a big Glass fan).
  19. I'm excited to finally play Nebraska next year. It's in Bloomington, and while they will bring bus loads of fans, they at least have a decent reputation. Hard to believe we haven't played them yet. Speaking of which, have we played at Minnesota's new(ish) stadium yet?
  20. You should see Littrell in his jorts. Speaking of, he may be getting a HC gig.
  21. My point is that shouldn't you be going after Shelby? He's been here since day one. Knorr had a top 30 D with similar talent at Wake, and it was only his second year here this season.
  22. [attachment=2981:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1448993088.119803.jpg]
  23. Jerimy Finch...ugh. I've mentioned him a few times, but I'm pumped to see Wes Green play. Nothing is guaranteed, but he was one of the top DB recruits in the nation. People overlook him because he transferred in, but I consider him a part of the class.
  24. Well fortunately, we have an excellent OL and WRs! Sign him up!
