Just curious, when were you in the band? I could swear we brought most, if not all of the Hundred last time up there, and the cheerleaders. We've played 3 of the last 4 in Bloomington though, and you would know better than me. Hundred website says they will be there, so even if it's a pep band, that's a few more people to help POTFB. And I agree, games on campus are special. And I love bands. I don't play an instrument, but I love the whole gameday atmosphere. I despise OSU, but the script Ohio and stuff like that always gets me going.

There's no reason both bands can't go. Texas/OK, UGA/UF make it work. Plus it's a short trip. The Hundred will be in WL this Saturday. They always travel for that. Typically they just shorten the band performances. That's what they do at bowls (neither opposing band can perform on the field at the games on campus though...we agreed to that a while back...gotta stay in the stands). My reasoning is that since the game is always on Thanksgiving weekend now, it won't really affect student attendance. There was a tiny student crowd last year and I expect the same this weekend. Most aren't going to stay for these two teams, although since we are playing for a bowl, I expect some of our students to trek up there. We should have a nice crowd. But, I like games on campus too. In conclusion, POTFB.

I wasn't in favor of it, but since the students will always be on break, like you said, why not? At least until a hypothetical period where both teams are consistently good and students would stay.

I'm hoping for Pinstripe against Louisville. As someone who lives 10 minutes from THE VILLE, I would love to see us stomp the self proclaimed BEST COLLEGE SPORTS TOWN IN AMERICA and their school's collective 3 national titles in a Saturday/3:30 ABC slot in NYC. Plus, both teams would bring a big crowd. We have a giant alumni base up there.

There is zero chance of that happening. Miles would not come here and Wilson would give Glass the finger. Doesn't matter, we will beat Purdue.
