  1. So tell us. If you truly can't tell us, you wouldn't have brought it up unless you just really, really want attention.
  2. http://www.jtsstrength.com/articles/2013/08/29/5-questions-with-coach-keith-caton/
  3. Keith Caton, from Baylor: http://iuhoosiers.com/news/2016/1/14/FB_0114160107.aspx
  4. Yeah, I'm not going to get too upset over that second half. They never got it under 20-22. Lyle was the only one doing anything. Even when we got "sloppy" (which inevitably happens when up 36) we never really lost control. There's a reason you don't see a bunch of 60 point wins. That was a pretty solid effort for the entire game.
  5. The thing that frustrates me about his "loyalty" is that the former players, most of whom are really good guys, are constantly in or out of his circle. Buckner said this last week, with a "you know how Coach is" comment. They should not have to check with Coach Knight about every conceivable life decision they make. That's just so silly. Coach Knight has many good qualities, but it saddens me to see him head down this path. I know some people have said he's moved on, but basically ignoring a lot of your former players who still adore you doesn't indicate that to me.
  6. Pat has tried. He made up with IU a couple years back.
  7. Some nuggets after perusing Twitter: They have "experimented" with Diamont at slot WR. The OL transfer from Cincy, Bowen, may see time at DL. Wes Rogers will be back for his 5th year. Feeney has until the 18th to decide on the NFL. Wilson said "we have a huge facility coming." A couple assistants have had other job offers already, but declined.
  8. We don't even know what we offered Hill. We just invested a bunch more in the staff, so until I know what we did or didn't try to do for Hill, I'm not going to rip anyone.
  9. I'm honestly not trying to be mean, but he's not going to read this.
  10. Also, and this is a general complaint not really directed at anyone, we should probably get off of this "settling for mediocrity" kick that I keep seeing. Mediocrity is a big step up for IU football. You can be pleased with progression while still knowing that's not where you ultimately want to be.
  11. OK, but a coach with the stature of Richt is not coming here, and I was responding to your post where you said we would not have "played them closely" on the road. So I addressed that.
  12. MSU game was in East Lansing. It was 31-26 with 5 minutes left, then, yes, all hell broke loose. As for playing on the road against UM or OSU, you have to go all the way back to last year to find us competing at Ohio Stadium. And that was a team led by Zander Diamont at QB.[attachment=3197:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1452625135.988456.jpg]
  13. By the way, we no longer play 4 non conference games.
  14. Mark Richt would've laughed in our face, and then flown down to Miami to get his first check. Also, what do you consider on par? We lost to two of those teams on the last play of the game, and trailed MSU 31-26 in East Lansing with 5 minutes left. We will never catch up in terms of tradition, no.
  15. Well, we did just double Wilson's salary into the top half of the B1G and increase the pay for assistants. My point though, was that UK can throw all the money they want at their football program, but it doesn't matter if they don't ever get anywhere on the field. Spending is good...if you do it wisely. UK fans aren't too thrilled with Stoops after his late season collapses.
  16. Also, it's 4 years on top of the remaining 2. Not 6 more. Albers is a tool.
  17. We're competing with everyone now, even with a terrible D this year.
  18. What bowl did UK play in this year?
  19. Thank you. I should have said no noticeable booing from where I sat. I obviously can't speak for 17,000 people.
  20. Here is the crowd from today. No students and poor weather: [attachment=3187:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1452480187.509379.jpg][attachment=3188:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1452480198.802854.jpg]
  21. I was at that game. There was no booing. He didn't get much applause, but no booing. There were some empties in the student section like most cupcake games. Also, this myth of always selling out over Christmas break is...well, a myth. Up until the mid 90s, we never averaged over 17,000 per game for a season. Not once. There's been some changes to the bleachers over the years, but nothing that would drastically change capacity. I went to games over break when Knight was here announced at around 13,000.[attachment=3186:ImageUploadedByBtownBanners1452479930.559309.jpg]
  22. How did those Boilers do tonight?
  23. He took that pic with 29:00 on the clock.
  24. For those worried about the crowd, after perusing Instagram, there were plenty of people in both balconies at around 1:05-1:10, so I'd say that's a good sign.
  25. The court is named after Branch McCracken, but I agree in general.
