Why won’t we sniff the CFP? No self imposed limitations my friend. What this season showed is thru coaching and scheme we can compete in the Big. What we need to add are big dogs. Upgrade the talent and athleticism and we can be on par with the OSUs, PSUs and Oregons.

I think you’ll see other non-competitive games in these playoffs. 12 teams is a lot, given the rosters of the top teams.

Recent history with this program is they start really slow on early Sat/Sun games after a night out on the town presumably. Add in the IU v ND festivities and it could be interesting. :)

Exactly, he had the place given to him on a platter to be a "hero." But laziness took over and now he has tarnished his legacy and is going to go out to a chorus of boos. Sad really.

Trustees generally serve three year terms. His started in 2022 and ends in 2025. He can get re-appointed to another 3 year term.

Not sure what you're getting at. But other than hiring/firing a coach, these days what does the administration do to handcuff a program? Woodson was a bad hire, no question. But it is clear it wasn't an "administration" hire, but rather a Buckner hire. But once the coach is hired, it's on him to succeed or fail, no? What limitations is the administration putting on him? APR? Is that even a thing anymore? Can he not hire/fire his own coaches? Get rid of the strength/conditioning guy? Not enough money to pay the players? Unlike others, IU generally wouldn't prior to NIL. Like I said, that just leaves me with the old fashioned cheerleader uniforms.

The whole “program” narrative is complete BS. Back in the day, fine. We had plenty of debates here about everything from IU’s reluctance to pay players under the table to the freaking cheerleaders uniforms. Well that ship has sailed. We can now pay players and have a top NIL package to do so. So that excuse is gone. So we must be back to the cheerleaders uniforms.
