    I would just echo all the positive things already said about this pick up. SIAP, but this is another example of the staff correcting the flaws of last years roster. Now they have completed all 13 scholarships and won't have the fan base wondering why they left one open like last year. Also, welcome aboard Mr. James.

    Welcome aboard Mr Ballo. I must say I like this big man as he replaces Ware. Not so much of an offensive threat, but on the defensive side that hopefully gets us out in more transition bb. Getting out on the break and putting up shots earlier in the clock might help with some of our recent pounding the paint.

    Wow maybe it's just me, but I thought I would come to this thread and see people going crazy over the Texas A&M/Houston game last night. Too late for most? If you didn't get to watch - you missed a heck of a game. Best in the tourney so far. Taylor willed the game into OT. And then Houston survived the foul trouble in OT. Talk about delivering?! Hello - is there any mail service today???

    You can complain all day. It's a bit of a crap shoot between retaining and looking for upgrades in the portal. Your point is well taken. But absolutely complain all day is you want. You feel the way you do - and in the end we want all want this program to just be better.

    Class of '66 Old Fart is about as spot on as you can get here. This program for this next year is about fielding the best they can put together from retaining their own and the portal. Glad Malik is back. Lots of work to be done in securing more players.

    Stuhoo, you may have stated before why Shrews is your guy or "The GUY" to lead IU, but....I can't remember if that's because of his connections to Painter & Stevens, to the state of Indiana, his age or something much more?

    Trey is an absolute must have if IU is to have any chance to move along in the BIG T. Together with X on the D side and Trey's ability to get downhill on O, IU will have a chance to win some games. Especially if Mr. Ware continues to play so well on both sides of the ball.

    Maybe this should be in a prediction thread, but I'm curious to see what Uspshoosier thinks if IU wins the next 2 (Iowa & Penn St) then loses the next 2 OSU & PU with a record of 6-7 in the BIG and then wins the remaining 7 games and finishes 13-7 in the BIG. Not sure why but I got that feeling.

    On Jan 3rd (Wed) at 11:00 am - 12:00 noon, Big Basketball in 60 on BTN. Episode 57 is replaying big ten game action, but not sure if it's IU vs Kennesaw St. That's the only replay that looks like it could be IU between today and Wed.

    This is an important observation about JHS that relates to now so very early/beginning of the season. The improvement is there for the taking by nearly all of the players. It's only 2 exhibition & 1 official game, but as of now I think Cupps is already just oozing with take-over leadership quality.
