Moren's not a bad coach, but Miller's bizarre resignation probably set the program back a couple years. This team is talented, but very young and not very big. They kind of have the same weaknesses as the men's team.
Woah. You mean it's possible to be elite WITHOUT OVERSIGNING EVERY YEAR?!! And be elite not just one out of every three years, but CONSISTENTLY?
Props to Coach K. I wish our program's roster management was that efficient.
I still haven't figured out how Purdue is able to get someone like Haas to come there from Alabama while our coaching staff has to beg and plead anyone over 6'9" to come here.
Much more subdued crowd in Champaign tonight; a lot of empty seats. I guess playing Purdue just isn't as much of a draw.
I wonder if the dudes calling this game will scream like little girls every time the Illini make a run tonight.
I remember thinking that game was the loudest IU game, start to finish, I'd ever heard on TV. It was insane.
It won't be anywhere near that loud for a long time, unfortunately.
The Pacers are #1 in the NBA in points allowed per game. That really puts into perspective how much this team misses PG and as already mentioned, how absolutely wretched the offense is.
