  1. I was just having fun. No hard on. Sorry if I offended people here.
  2. Can we still bash Jadlow? lol I'll give $100 to anybody that can find either video or pictures of Coach Knight breaking a clipboard over Jadlow's head during that game like Jadlow claimed. There were plenty of video and still cameras in the arena...but I bet nobody can find a shred of evidence. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
  3. My boy Ben Bishop lost his front teeth yesterday after getting hit by a puck. How much time is he going to miss? He never even left the ice. Hockey is awesome. http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/news/watch-lightning-goalie-ben-bishop-loses-front-teeth-after-taking-shot-off-mask/
  4. Jadlow claims that Bob Knight broke a clipboard over his head during a nationally televised game against Louisville in 1989. Who believes that? Don't you think we'd have seen that or heard of that by now? I hope your book sales don't amount to enough to pay for your next rehab stint.
  5. Like I said earlier...show me any coach and I'll show you players who disliked him. This isn't unique to Coach Knight.
  6. That's right, the morality police fired him. It wasn't his legion of loyal players or their parents. It was the people who were uninvolved with the program who voiced how they didn't like his tactics.
  7. I just don't think the parents were that naive. They knew it happened. They made their choice anyway. I understand you didn't like it. With all due respect, it wasn't your choice. Consenting adults. It was fine until the morality police threw their opinions into the ring. We'll definitely have to disagree here. Thanks for the discussion.
  8. That seems fairly naive to me. The stories were very public. Recruits and their parents knew them. They decided to play for him anyway. That's what I mean by consenting adults.
  9. So in your opinion...why did Coach get so many intelligent recruits to play for him? They knew who he was and how he acted.
  10. Yeah, it's odd to think about. As RBB said, these stories had been open about Coach for decades. Everybody knew who he was. Yet somehow, great recruits kept coming to play for him. Also, we had very intelligent players. Intelligent players who knew who he was, yet wanted to play for him. Then the morality police decided they needed to enforce their morals on everybody. Show me a coach, and I'll show you players who disliked him. That happens everywhere. The disdain for our coach despite having a long list of loyal players is concerning to me.
  11. That's not at all the philosophy I'm trying to convey. Mine's more of a consenting adults, live and let live approach whereas yours is more of a morality police philosophy.
  12. Last year somebody provided a link that put all the IU games on my cell phone calendar. That was awesome! ...can somebody help again :)
  13. That's the last IU game I've been to. It was awesome!
  14. And that's fair. For some (like AJ Moye and Jared Jeffries), they did want that. Who are we to say they can't have it? * That Penn State/IU comparison is terrible. Molestation vs toughen you up is not even close to a comparison.
  15. That furthers my point. It was very open what kind of coach Bob Knight was. Yet he had a line of players who wanted to play for him. Maybe you or I don't like it. Maybe a lot of recruits didn't either. But some did. They wanted to play for him while knowing that's who he was. Who are you or I to say they can't because he's a jackass? It wasn't a secret what a jackass he was. The players who signed to play for him obviously wanted that.
  16. Not that my 2 cents matter, but here it is. I'm torn on this series. I love Schwarber and Zobrist. Schwarber for his IU ties and Zobrist for his service (and his wife's) in Tampa Bay. But then there's Joe Maddon, a man who quit on Tampa Bay, yet opened a restaurant in South Tampa to use us as a revenue stream. Screw him. A real love/hate thing with the Cubs. Then again, I know nothing about Cleveland or baseball in general. Baseball is the most boring pasttime, and yes I'm including tidily winks. I hope somehow Schwarber wins and everybody else loses. Go Hoosiers
  17. Prevent defense.
  18. One other thought if I may. Players knew what they were getting into when they decided to play for Coach Knight. It's not like he portrayed himself as a saint and then became an arsehole once they signed. They knew he had a temper. They knew his verbal games. Most all of them wanted/needed it and are still happy to this day. When one decides that he didn't like it decades later...there's some other angle. Like trying to sell a book.
  19. It's not Kravitz I don't trust, it's Todd Jadlow. We all know Bob Knight has a terrible temper that has led him into trouble. I'm sure a lot of the stories are true. However, Jadlow isn't the most trustworthy guy. I'm sure there's truth in this book. I just don't know what percent is true and what percent is cocaine induced fantasy.
  20. There was a lot of stupid fouls against us, we have a lot of dumb players. Still, we won! No turnovers = win. Good game by Luck today. The announcer said Mathis got his first ever touchdown. I don't think that's right
  21. So today we get to find out which team deserves to be alone in last place of the division. No turnovers = win. Go Colts
  22. The guy running this is winning now? Shenanigans. Lol

  24. Cameron has less experience and worse results than Zander. If we're starting a new qb in the middle of Big Ten season, give me the guy who has seen snaps thus year, the guy who has experience.
  25. Scrimmage best players: Green, Bryant, OG
