  1. Sometimes superior talent doesn't win. But when it consistently loses, you look at the coach.
  2. Then change the dang style! Win the dang games! A good coach can adjust in order to win games.
  3. Yes, we had superior talent to Fort Wayne, Indiana State, Rutgers, and Northwestern. Far superior.
  4. I've seen it a thousand times. People here excuse the losing because of our roster. Nevermind that our roster is much more talented than teams that we're losing to. We need better players? How many all conference players do we need to beat Nebraska at home? To quit losing to Northwestern?
  5. I wanted a coach who could take 5 random players and beat another team through strong coaching and knowledge of basketball. Even Archie's supporters admit that he must have far superior talent to win a game. That's not even coaching, that's just recruiting and praying.
  6. Lol. I'd never keep a job as a D1 coach. Hopefully he's aiming higher than that.
  7. Just for clarity, who are you comparing Archie to here?
  8. Since we're just guessing...I'm guessing the fans saw a coach who got the most out of his team despite the losses.
  9. And did they keep their job?
  10. Yes, but not with this consistency or lack of effort.
  11. I understand that our roster has flaws. It does no doubt. But there's a bigger picture here. We lose to teams that have more roster flaws than we do. I understand losing to Duke. But Nebraska at home? Northwestern? Indiana State? Fort Wayne? Rutgers? UC Davis giving us problems? Our roster isn't that flawed. Our coaching is.
  12. Did we improve last year? I didn't see it as we lost to 14 seed Rutgers in the first round of the BTT. Are we really making excuses for him consistently losing to teams with inferior talent? Yeesh.
  13. Was Northwestern a bigger wave than us? Nebraska? Fort Wayne? Indiana State? This captain can't guide a boat through a retention pond.
  14. I said when he got hired that Archie was Crean 2.0 and got slammed for it. Now I think he's actually worse than Crean. Worse at player development, worse at coaching offense, worse in transition, worse at recognizing talent, worse at getting his teams prepared to play. Yuck.
  15. That's on the coach
  16. Our offense was terrible, our defense was terrible, the coaching was terrible. Other than that it's been ok.
  17. Blaming the fans for the team's struggles is ALWAYS a bad move.
  18. Oh, it's our fault that the team is underperforming. Got it.
  19. Three programs have won NCAA titles in four different decades. Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina. That's sustained success that makes you a Blue Blood. Our recent history is admittedly garbage however.
  20. You have a great post, but I disagree with this part. The easy reaction to what's going on is to sit back and declare that all is well. It hurts to admit that we keep getting outplayed by teams with far inferior talent under Archie Miller.
  21. It was a terrible decision, but that pattern continues without blame to Sampson. It's time to blame Glass.
  22. I'm getting redundant, but I'm also 100% correct. Good night all. I'll start FireArchieMiller.com tomorrow. None of you who thought he was a good hire is invited.
