Did anyone notice Johnson losing out on several 50/50 balls? A couple of those might have actually been 75/25 balls in his favor. I remember in particular a pass that got away from him. He went after it a bit lazily and the PSU defender quickly came from behind and grabbed it for a transition layup. Johnson had AT LEAST one step on the PSU defender and still couldn't get to the ball first. There were also several long rebounds that went right in Johnson's direction and he was caught flat footed. What should have been an easy rebound was picked up by PSU. Rojo was the only starter who didn't look like he was playing hard.

Just finished watching the recording. A couple things: -Other than Newkirk and Green coming in an out for each other, I’m pretty sure we had the same lineup in for the last 10 mins or so if the game. It was working and Archie stuck with it. Love it. -Clutch free throws at the end. Really impressed by both Newkirk and Green knocking those down.

The plan was always to have him practice with the team until the appeal is decided but he won't be playing any games. I believe they mentioned that on the broadcast. I agree with Dakich here though - it's your second allegation of sexual violence in as many years. Time to go.

The truth is we need DD to stay. Archie HAS TO get him engaged. That is part of the head coaching job. We don't have another big we can start in the post. Race Thompson isn't big enough as far as I recall and Forrester will not be ready from a strength/conditioning perspective at the very least. I'm guessing Green will be gone and it won't be his choice.

I don’t blame this all on Archie but I also reject the excuse that these aren’t “his” guys. Coaches come in all the time and have success year 1, or if not success at least not a dumpster fire. Holtmann at Ohio State inherited a worse roster from Matta and has that team playing well and winning games.
