I understand everyone's frustration, but we literally outplayed PSU.... Like mentioned above about Paige.... Didn't see that coming. Ik we gave up 45 pts.... But defense is tough and if you told me we would hold the flaming hot Saquan Barkley to 60yd rushing..... I would have laughed. We had brainfarts. We are so young. So so so young. Ik we always say this... Next year we will break through..... Blah blah blah.... But hey I'll take a win over purdue....6-6 and another bowl game..... Now next year I think is a really make or break year.... Wilson has time to fully develop Lagow or Diamont has more time to get passing down(even though he's looked pretty good so far throwing the ball) and this defense.... We really don't loose much.... Offense.... Yeah some lineman.... But we have cronk, knight,baker, and a bunch of young lineman that Frey can coach up.... I was bummed a little that we lost.... But I think a lot of us in the back of our minds didn't give us a chance come kickoff.... This team has heart and grit and Idc that we lost today. It was a great showing and onto next weekend, hopefully the Badgers are looking ahead to OSU. I agree. I really like how the DLine has played as of late....even with how little depth we have. I think students will show up.....hopefully. The athletic department is giving out pizza to all students lol soak up that alcohol. Even tho Maryland was close..... I liked how the offense operated. I want wilson to continue with the Zander/Natee package. It did not work all that well last week, but I still think we need to work that and also give zander a chance to throw. The couple of times he's been given the chance to go downfield.... It has worked out.... Quick strikes. Barkley has had some great games as of late.... But to start the season he did not have amazing games. Make them run between the tackles and limit long runs and I think we win. Also do outside stunts and DE contain, make sorely step up in the pocket... Don't give him the chance to make plays with his feet. I forget what thread it was in, but I was thinking about the comment of keeping Tom here in Btown. I think glass antes up and pays the man. I think we can keep him around and especially with the recruiting of talent I've seen so far in this class. I think glass values that and I think he values his enthusiasm.
