Not sure. He might be. He's majoring in finance which was surprising to me. A lot of top talent college players go the general studies and rely on NFL dreams. Jalen Hurd of Tennessee has told his teammates he plans on transferring. Multiple places are reporting and confirming this. He's upset on how he was used as the season progressed. He plans to transfer and switch to TE or WR. I didn't know where to put this, but he would be a very very athletic TE and be a mismatch against some slower LBs. 6'4" 240lb boy. Nothing but positives even if our defense gave up a lot of points. We knew Maryland was capable of huge plays and they got some. I believe they had 3 players averaging 8.5 yds or more per carry. Also going into mid third or even start of second half they had 200 yards rushing. We only allowed 69 more the rest of the game. Great job by the offense to create open lanes for running and passing. I think he is a lifer at IU as long as he does well. He is from indiana went to IU and loves being back. His son is committed and I think he stays as long as glass bumps him. Heck if Wilson leaves at anytime I could see him be our next head coach.

Also to the person.... Who said Tom Allen is the basically blame for the slow starts. Maybe in this one...but being a defensive coordinator is being able to make adjustments on the fly and at halftime. Which obviously he did. To piggy back off of this. Like I've said before I know I have defended Lagow on a regular basis, but the northwestern game looked as if he had no confidence in his arm. He had no touch and looked rushed on every throw. To diamont.... I loved the hype he brought to the field against Nebraska and honestly I want to see him get the start this weekend. Sit Lagow give him a reality check. I'm not saying keep Diamont in....if he struggles then put Lagow in and maybe that gives him the fire under his butt, but this offense needs some fire and I think diamont brings that. He just signed an extension. Recruiting is up.... He got tom Allen here over auburn.... There's nobody out there that IU would buyout Wilson for let alone go after... I don't want Les either. Wilson is here for another 3-4 years at least. His contract is til 2021. Glass likes him. I'm all for a dedicated QB coach or something along those lines. I like johns as a WR coach, but I think a new QB coach or solely OC would help. Johns title is OC but from my understanding Wilson has last say on calls. My take on the QB situation. Lagow was wilsons guy to fill the roll of sudfeld. First couple games you could argue he did that. Last few you can argue what in the world is he thinking. Lagow looks to question everything he does now. I have defended him so far this season. I'll stand by it. I still think this is a huge reality check for him and now it's getting to him. He's trying to be a heisman QB with forcing throws. I also believe Wilson has changed the tempo. I loved what he had with Lagow and offense first two games. But where has that tempo gone?! Onto Zander. I love his grit and toughness. He's tiny but he is not afraid and I like that. I think his short game is fine. I wish we would run him in some sets and run the read option and then after a few times pull it on Play Action and dump one at medium or deep range just to see what he has. He had deep balls in HS that were like Suds. Not kidding. Go watch his tape. Cameron I think showed some zip and good reads when he came in against PSU. Ramsey/King.... We don't really know what they can exactly do....we get them some experience to compete for next year and give Lagow a run for his money. So it's a pick your poison deal. I hope Peters transfers from Michigan (lol long shot) however Michigan is bringing in huge QB commits left and right. Watch for top QBs to not want to compete against 5 other top QBs. Just look at Alabama situation. Overall.... We can point fingers we all do.... But one question I have for discussion is.... Is it time for Wilson to give up the play calling? Is the last part calling out Allen? The DC who has turned around the defense and it's hard to get stops after stops when your team is on the field for basically the first half in all of those games. It's the offense that is getting us in these holes. Defense gets a stop then offense goes 3 and out or throws a pic or can't convert a third down.
