I don't fully agree about not being able to win a championship because of a coach. I dislike Crean as much as most but sometimes a transcendent player, luck, tourney draw, injuries, chemistry configure and the stars align. See Kevin Ollie. Crean could be as lucky. But the odds aren't in his favor. We are far more talented than that UConn team IMO. Many teams are.

unfortunately, if Crean doesn't turn things around SOON, we will be saying the same thing: except Tom Crean was the coach.............

A FWIW. I'm on vacation in Daytona. Drove through Kennesaw. Saw them scrimmaging with peach baskets ( well, not exactly) We'll be fine. Also, stopped near a Lexington gas station/McDonald's that was fully decked out with UK gear. I was proudly adorned in a loud IU shirt that can't be missed. Survived my foray amongst the sea of rednecks. Lastly, showed up at hotel wearing same shirt and a group of 20 somethings greeted me with a "Let's Go Hoosiers" chant. Go HoosierNation!!!!!!!!!

Love took the drama out of that decision.  He seemed like a big piece that may be on the move.  Also Thompson is getting paid big.  Both guys may be slightly overpaid IMO.  Kyrie is too injury prone in my opinion.  Great, great talent for a 1 month season but for a 6 month season, too fragile.    Just surprise Love signed so quickly.

somehow is the big question. We should be able to get who we want in state minus a few that are enamored by UK, Duke, etc.. 2017 class will be very telling on where we stand on BB in state recruiting.

Great time for a visit with Thomas Bryant on campus and in the fold. Consensus 4 star, rated 50-60 range. Listed as 6'3'' - 6-4''. We will need 2 or 3 guards in this class but AT least 2. I was thinking Rawle and Bruce Brown but CuJo sounds great.
