Yes, it was different and I actually liked it. I also think it is a little too late in the season to throw them in. I saw someone this morning say that maybe Davis should have been brought back much slower, than depending on him to log as many mins as he did and now he is unavailable again. They stated that was the time Jake and Cliff should have gotten some extended mins to get used to the game and gain experience. I kind of agree with that take. I would have much rather allowed Davis more time and let the freshman have time against some of the easier competition. If that happened I think they might not look as lost at times as they do now and we could potentially still have Davis available.

Lost another game, crap, but one thing that stood out to me last night was in the first half. We starting the game with a purpose, things were going "well", then a couple fouls sends McBob and Fitz in the game. The downward spiral then commenced with uninspired play and the ball movement came to a halt. There has been a lot of speculation over the last month that there is something happening in the locker room, and a possibility to me could be maybe there is something to McBob and Fitz. I know there were mistakes from Damezi, Forrester, and Moore, but at this point let them play and super glue, weld, or hog tie McBob and Fitz to the bench. Seriously, if they are put in the game, pass an open shot, miss another 3 (Fitz), let someone blow past them on D, or 1 more stone hands play, then CAM should pull them on the very next stoppage of play and not put them back unless they are completely out of other options.

Nothing wrong with expressing displeasure with the current state of things, I just took you comment as so due to the overall jest of the thread before hand of blowing up the system 2 yrs in because of mediocre play. I am all for giving Archie a chance, but if he is not the right fit then fine, move on, however, he still needs to have his chance. What frustrates me more than anything now is yes we are playing poorly, I know its an understatement, but go on any social media plat form and you'll see many calling for the coaches head tagging the basketball and school accounts, and also bashing the players. To top that off there are still several saying can Archie and hire Alford, wtf, really? I guess he didn't prove that he's not a good coach at UCLA and has to be hired here to make sure that he isn't a good coach! I personally think the rabid part of the fanbase needs to push the keyboard or phone away, take a damn breath, and let the coach do his thing. If it bothers them so much that we basically suck at the moment, then find something else to do. I mean what did they actually expect this year with the returning players from last season and one star freshman? Time to definitely temper expectations and quit looking for that instant gratification!

The answer would obviously be no, however, how do you ever find that elite coach if you can everyone after 2 yrs trying to find that said elite coach.

Man I hate losing, but it seemed that something was starting to click over the last 10 mins of the game. Not sure what yet, but kind of seemed like they were starting to get comfortable playing with each other for the first time in awhile. Maybe we are starting to turn the corner, possibly, there was definitely more energy in this game except for the end of the first half. One thing that still bugs me is an opposing player out of nowhere shoots lights out from 3! And it wasn’t just lack of defense, there were more than a few contested shots, smh! Legality discussion aside, what a dumba$$ move! I’m not sure when the test was administered, but with all of the tension and poor play by the team lately it makes it even worse for me. If in fact he has got nailed before, knowing the consequences shows a lot of the “me” mentality, which also kinda proves some issues that he has playing. More of his players, more experience for them, I really wish some more of the freshman would have gotten more playing time to start the season especially in the “cupcake” games. Coach really threw Anderson to the wolves today after hardly any playing time and that to me is a big reason we keep getting the deer in the headlights out of the freshman. Just because we have veterans on the team doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good thing. Besides JMO, which of our upper class men actually deserves any playing time let alone starters mins? Al is still a work in progress, I still like al, Smith needs a quick kick in the confidence and consistency pants, Davis needs time to heal and probably should not have played much at the beginning of this year, I have no comments on Green, McBob just no! If this team had one player, just one, that could step up and consistently be a threat from 3, we would be winning more games. Everyone has already figured out how to stop us, clog the lane! Until someone starts hitting from outside, this is how it’s going to go. Especially since JMO and Romeo score a majority of their points in the lane. After what Archie said in the news conference yesterday, I would think it would be a game time decision.

I was beginning to think possibly a medical redshirt for next year! All jokes aside I really hope Rob gets this behind him and gets back to normal, add Race to that as well. Concussions are no joke, my wife had a small skull fracture and concussion about 9 years ago. She still has trouble migraines, loud sounds, and takes seizure meds do to the accident.
