  1. Confident that our team with a healthy RoJo and Morgan will be able to get out and run on these guys. I understand everyone's hesitation after the Michigan loss, but we were missing two key rotation guys (Morgan didn't play more than five minutes if I recall). We've beat better defenses than Chattanooga this year in Purdue and Maryland. Hope the loss and the #5 seeding has this team playing angry. Crean and Co. always seem to perform best when they've been disrespected.
  2. Serious? 14/8/4 with only one turnover.
  3. Is this a serious question? How would you track this? Rest helps players with injuries. We currently have two rotation players with injuries. Logic says rest would help this Tom Crean coached team, just as it would any team with injured players. I'm going to go repeatedly bang my head into a wall now.
  4. Clearly we need more to get RoJo and Juwan healthy. Extra rest is a good thing for this team.
  5. Seems you are as well... [emoji57]
  6. Troy keeping us in this. Doing everything today. This is the most hustle I've seen from him on defense this year.
  7. Juwan and RoJo are both dressed and warming up, RoJo reportedly moving well according to Rabs, but Bozich saying he's been told it's unlikely RoJo will play.

  9. When it opens up, mods should make it its own thread. Get it some more action on here and Twitter.
  10. Looking back at 247Sports Composite ratings of the state of Illinois, typically players ranked outside of the top four in-state were in the mid-80's (3 star) range. Totally unscientific analysis here.
  11. I'm too young to know this, but does anyone recall how heavily recruited DWade was?
  12. I'm with you on this. Honestly, I'm always surprised by how many people consider Arizona as more successful than us, especially when you consider one of the main Crean criticisms is the lack of success while recruiting at such a high level. Arizona has consistently recruited at the highest level (probably just slightly behind UK and Duke), and has vastly underachieved, in my opinion.
  13. OG is from Jefferson City, MO. Almost a 5 hour 45 minute drive to Bloomington. I don't know how you missed that ;)   For real, why ever leave the state of Indiana. No point in recruiting nationally. How can you look at what Sheehey did for us, and say that you're certain that anyone else could have done it? That is naive. Maybe there were people who could have done more, maybe less. What we do know, is that Will Sheehey was the Sixth Man of the Year on a damn good team.   Just stop.
  14. I'm assuming this means you don't have a valid rebuttal to my logical opposition to your belief that Crean is pulling scholarships from players.
  15. People can leave on their own accord... lack of playing time is pretty important. Not saying Crean didn't tell anyone they no longer have a scholarship, but I think there would be more publicity if there were a bunch of disgruntled individuals losing schollys.
  16. To who? Remy Abell who found passed out on fraternity lawns? Matt Roth? Really don't know who has been "Creaned".
  17. I disagree, from a long term value perspective. Crean's reputation is more valuable than a one-and-done recruit.
  18. Ingram hitting threes though. Worked out well for you all last time he lit up a team from the perimeter...
  19. So... we're pretty much on track...?
  20. That's not going to help his draft stock...   Really sucks. Kid worked hard to get where he is. He's since thrown away the opportunity for a quality education, and now potentially an NFL career.
  21. KenPom doesn't reveal how he adjusts his efficiency numbers, but here is his explanation of what he adjusts for:   "Adjusted efficiency: Raw offensive efficiency is points scored per 100 offensive possessions. The adjusted version adjusts for the quality of opposing defenses, the site of each game, and when each game was played (recent games get more weight). Defensive efficiency is points allowed per 100 defensive possessions, adjusted for the same things. (The ratings glossary page has more details on points per possession calculations.)"   So, he already takes into account recent play. I know everyone thinks we've been playing much better defensively, which we have, but I still don't really expect to see us make major leaps in the rankings, based on the ranking shifts after wins against teams like Iowa, Maryland, and Purdue.
  22. I am worried about neutral site games. Really haven't seen how we play against top talent at a neutral site, other than ND.
