  1. Of course, this scenario would never happen, but...... Assuming that one had a chance to lure Donovan or Stevens to IU, but not until say, 2019/2020, would you consider approaching coach Knight about coming back for a one or two year contract to stabilize the program, heal the fan base, mend fences, then hand off to one of the two or more aforementioned coaches? Be nice, I'm only tossing this out for discussion.
  2. If Crean is looking for an extension, it's gonna have to come from his doctor and no one else.
  3. Bwaaaaaahahaaaaahahhaaaaaaaaaaa!
  4. Yup, that was the one. lol
  5. Good lookin' kid. Hope he'll be coming to IU.
  6. I thought the best pick of the day was the one Crean set on the sideline against Wagner. Classic.
  7. The Wolves would beat em'.
  8. I like our new coach and I like the kids he seems to be bringing in. If nothing else, I bet our defense becomes quite good.
  9. I don't like that the kid was in any way involved in such an act, but to a degree, I have to allow for the poor decision making of hormonally driven teenagers, (at least where there has been some level of consent, as apparently there was). Stupid actions for sure, but I can't see ruining his playing career over it. I wonder, if IU pulled his scholarship offer, and the kid could pay his own way, would he still be welcome on the team?
  10. Let's hope we can land this kid. The tape looks nice and he could be a decent "move the chains" type receiver.
  11. I love this kid. Really nice pick up for us.
  12. Was nice to see something resembling defense. I hope that the reason it looked good was not due to the level of competition. We shall see. The offense is a work in progress, but as that's Wilson's forte, it should improve through the season.
  13. Hey Dalton,

Where has everyone gone on this site? Can't find Nat or General, and I thought 41 said something about Jaybob.

I haven't been on here for a while, so either they're still here and I just haven't seen their posts or something went down while I was away.

    Hope you're doing good.

    Kevin

  14. Jeff George, 2.0.
  15. Another quality get, (a three star), and another brick in the defensive foundation. Keep em' comin' coach.
  16. Nice get. Lot's of three star guys coming aboard, more so than most years, or so my memory tells me.
  17. Well, it's obnoxious if it's a maize colored "M" or a scarlet colored "O"; but the state of Indiana? Never!... lol
  18. I think the state insignia should have been about twice the size at midfield; but that's only my opinion.
  19. That field makes me dizzy looking at it. It would however, make it easy to spot the black and gold turds running by.
  20. Because I didn't know where the hell else to put it. lol. I was just commenting on an earlier post, even though it wasn't in line with the thread title.
  21. In my opinion, the day the the NCAA went to a shot clock and the three point shot, was the day overall basketball skills went to hell. Emphasis on passing, screening, ball handling, and teamwork, are not near what they once were. No doubt, the average fan enjoys the more up tempo game, and the NCAA wants to keep the fans happy, but in terms of overall skills, it has, (again, in my opinion), diminished a kid's ability to master the whole game of basketball. The four corners offense, while boring, demanded great decision making, passes, ball handling, and mental toughness. On defense, you had to know how to attack it, to beat it. It demanded a lot more effort and employed more strategy that most people think.
  22. So I hear Harrison Niego is leaving?...
  23. If the NCAA doesn't supplement those self imposed sanctions, (and sanctions in only the loosest sense of the word), they have no balls.
  24. I stand corrected. Thought it was eight. Seven is still a good number. :-)
