I really don’t understand how Williams was so low on the depth chart…third/fourth string?!?!? We don’t see practice, but it’s looking like He should of been the guy all darn year. His legs give the offense such a different look. Need to work on accuracy but the arm strength is clearly there….maybe add a few more yards this game haha.

I’m not going to argue if we should have received the techs, or downplay that they have a serious impact on the game. But I also can’t help but admit that there is a part of me that absolutely loves seeing the Dog in some of these guys…especially Reneau and X. We have lacked a grit and edge for so darn long, I love seeing guys refuse to get pushed around. If these techs were for dirty plays or seriously unsportsmanlike , I’d have a different tune. But a couple guys saying I’m f’ing here you better respect me…the competitor in me freaking loves it.

I was on the phone with a friend at like the 4 minute mark and we agreed we need 2 minutes of good X…almost Jinxed us haha.

I need to go back and watch the play…but was yelling at Kopp for passing the ball to a Freshman Reneau in that situation knowing they are going to foul. I have confidence in Malik to stroke those…but first road game as a freshman in hostile environment to hit big free throws. Tough for the young man. That said…they didn’t have an answer for Malik. His need to be on the court is evident…

Blaming NIL on our recent dumpster fire seasons is a bad look for CTA in my opinion. Punting accountability for an inability to maintain a staff capable of developing the players that he has recruited. Recruiting classes have been historically better than arguably any time on paper, and the results are pitiful. I understand that the current environment is allowing power schools to tap into donors for large NIL pools to be paid out to the top talent....but we were never getting those kids anyways. Develop the talent you have, put a competitive product on the field, win some damn games and maybe...just maybe the money will come. Putting the blame on donors for IU stinking, because we aren't coughing up NIL money is hard to swallow. I would love to see the collective NIL money going to offensive lineman in the big ten.... And to be clear...we aren't only losing to the Big 3 Power Schools that Allen mentions. We can't beat anyone right now.

I think Kaleb Banks is averaging more points than Smith, only getting like 5 minutes a game.

Come on guys, 3 Star 197 nationally ranked Braden Smith is clearly in over JHS or Reneau… And 3 star 244 nationally ranked Derek Simpson is a no brainer.

Saw where Brown had 27 pts in their win against Florida State, went 7-11 from three. Followed it up with a 20 pt game tonight against South Florida. Good for him. But not sure how he’s coming off the bench with those numbers haha.

That’s two very bad losses for Rhode Island…yikes.

We need an infusion of talent at every position. None more glaring than the o-line. Honest question…Sitting in a kids living room, what in gods green earth do you use to sell anyone to come here? The “bring Indiana to greatness” pitch has surely run its course after we didn’t sustain success after COVID year. We have no pieces to really sell to get anyone to come. It’s a train wreck.

Someone needs to tell Kopp to save a few for Xavier.

It’s painful. I’ll say it again…I’m sure he’s a great guy, but he’s not getting paid to chant LEO, be awkward and continuously manic. He’s the 18th best paid coach in D1 to win freaking football games and put a competitive product on the field. The program has noticeably gotten worse game by game over the last two years, recruiting is going to suffer with a lame duck coach, and attendance is going to plummet. Cut ties now, have an excuse for losing the rest of the games this season, and inject some new blood into every facet of the program. What Dolson does will show how much this university actually cares about football. Maybe the tv money is enough for them and this is acceptable…
