  1. You can walk at graduation without being completely finished with a degree. I do not know all of the specifics on that, I just know that it is possible.
  2. Maybe if they had the first or second pick. Hard to trade a top 10 NBA player for nothing but picks.
  3. There is 0% chance they take Sabonis or Poeltl with the 3rd pick. If I were the Celtics, I would be looking to move that pick,
  4. Leadership doesn't have to necessarily be all these traits you described. It can simply be showing up to practice early, putting work in, staying late, giving advice or answering questions, taking a freshmen out for dinner, etc.
  5. Thank you for agreeing that the roster is the issue and not Vogel.
  6. Except for the fact that he is. He is widely regarded as being in the top tier of the league. For coaches with 500 games coached, Vogel has the 19th best winning record. Of all time. He has a better winning percentage than Doc Rivers. Since Vogel has been the coach of the Pacers 4 different NBA coaches have won a championship and they aren't going to be able to hire one of those guys. Why keep Vogel? The players liked him. The fans liked him. He won consistently.
  7. Huh. Vogel took them to the ECF twice. Won the division. Made the playoffs with PG and a bunch of scrubs and almost beat the 2 seed. Almost made the playoffs last season with George Hill as his best player. They're not making it out of the East with LeBron there. Don't know what Larry expects. Kerr, Pop, Spo, Carlisle, etc. Vogel is right near the top.
  8. Yeah, for DR and a top 3 pick? 0% chance the Pacers would ever take that.
  9. Players should be able to go wherever they want.
  10. I've been saying this for a while. Sign Conley and then either have George Hill or Ellis run with the bench unit. Need a dependable shooter off the bench, too. Solo played really well this series. I was never a fan, but maybe there's something there.
  11. Nah, Vogel did well with what he had. They're not going to find a better coach on the market. Bring him back. Pacers are in a good spot with PG and Turner, just have to make the right moves in the off-season. I have no faith in Bird to do that, though.
  12. No, it is 100% fake, as Twitter verified last night. http://thebiglead.com/2016/04/28/laremy-tunsil-jimmy-sexton-statement-fake/
  13. It's fake.
  14. Nope, unfortunately you're wrong. This is the amended NOA, not an amendment to the original NOA. Policies and procedures still apply, but the rest of the original NOA is null and void. Specifically, any reference to men's basketball and football was removed. Also the section about the classes being impermissible benefits was removed. All of the heavy hitters are gone from the original NOA.
  15. If only Louisville had made their hookers available to roughly the same number of non-athletes.
  16. What? KAT is better right now than Whiteside is and doesn't have any of the drama with him.
  17. No, but it mentions Lack of Institutional Control still.
  18. Pacers should get rid of Bird before they get rid of Vogel.
  19. Roth was a stud on NCAA 2010, I guarantee Gelon won't be. :)
  20. Huh? Fischer was going to be/is a good college player. I don't think Crean wanted him to leave at all.
  21. Production, not playing style.
  22. I expect closer to Niego than Roth or NZ.
  23. Without getting into specifics about RSCI and how it projects a player's collegiate future, yes there is a massive difference between being a top 150 recruit and being barely in/outside the top 300.
  24. Bryan Colangelo is an absolutely awful GM. He was a mess with the Raptors. I'd much rather have Hinkie.
