Texas Tech storming court after home win vs. #14 Iowa St.

Silver lining. That PU win just strengthens our chance to land gameday on 2/20. Now we just need to do our part Thursday and Sunday.

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
Uwe Robb replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
1000 pt club with 4 games left as a soph. Nice. -
If you want to compare things to Law & Order then all the stuff you listed as hearsay is official evidence and your client just basically offered up a plea deal in which the prosecutor (NCAA) does not have accept if they choose. I don't know about you but if I am innocent of a charge then I fight it not offer up a plea bargain. Face it they are guilty and they are trying to do damage control to the point where they don't have to fire Pitino.

Here you go. Even Pitino says in the interview McGee never could have afforded this himself. So either someone from school was cutting him a check and asking no questions or he was taking money from a booster. Either way it is on Pitino. I agree you can't know where your players are at all times, but I think he should have an idea of where a top High School recruit is on a one night trip. http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/21/us/louisville-basketball-sex-scandal/index.html

Agree after looking it over I think we have a better chance of landing GD on 2/20 than 3/5. I think the only thing cooler than Gameday coming to Bloomington would be if Purdue went 0-4 between now and then. Probably wouldn't get Gameday at that point, but let's be honest.....we all love seeing Purdue lose.
-
I would guess UNC/UVA on 2/27, and 3/5 has tons of good matchups to choose from. Not saying we won't get it. All games are listed as TBD and being played on ESPN/ESPN2 WVa @ Baylor Iowa St @ Kansas UNC @ Duke Lville @ UVA MD @ IU

Looks like Wisky vs. Maryland will be the gameday game on 2/13. As for 2/20. UK plays @ Texas A&M and ESPN loves UK almost as much as they love Duke, so I doubt IU/Purdue get the nod that weekend. Edit: I am really rooting against my prediction here. Who would rather go to College Station than Bloomington/Assembly Hall? I know my answer.

If we can take care of business...

I think realistically 15-3 would be the best IU can do. The big games are going to be our remaining home games against Purdue, Iowa and Maryland. If we win these we probably win the B1G. This will probably also give us a good idea of how good this team really is. In years past we have had that slip up, a game we all marked down as a W early in the year that IU let slip away or turned in a poor performance. Knock on wood, when it comes to conference games we have not had that this year yet. If we finish up like I previously stated I would consider that a great year. Undefeated @ home & only losses being (@Wisconsin, @Michigan St & @Iowa) -
What would be on your IU Basketball Bucket List?
Uwe Robb replied to IndyHutch's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
to piggy back off Coop Wish I could see the one and done NCAA rule gone, and I am not saying I want high schoolers to go pro. I am saying I want players to play 3 or even 4 years of college ball before they can leave. -
@Ryno6284 Hard to consider a B1G Championship disappointing, but I agree with you as far as that is the team that had the highest expectations. I honestly felt they had a legit chance to go to a Final Four. It stung the worst when they didn't even make Elite Eight.

IU VS Michigan - Pre-Game Thread- 2/2 9PM EST ESPN
Uwe Robb replied to BlueDevil's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I will check the boards in the morning. A 9pm tip and a newborn baby in the house won't bode well for this guy. I would guess I will be asleep on the couch before the under 12 timeout. Go Hoosiers!!!
