If Rutgers keeps up this level of intensity the whole game, I just don’t see it working out in our favor. They are CLEARLY the more energized team. Like to see X and TJD get into some p&r action.

I’m thinking this game has a similar feel as the Xavier game, except we don’t have some of the silly techs and end up beating them with room to breath. If our defense shows up we win. Rutgers offense is ranked #109 while their defense is borderline elite at #12. IU: 70 Rutgers: 65

Was just having a conversation about coaches following up legends. It’s different when a guy has built other programs and has won building things on his own merit. Guys that are hand picked and inherit a legend’s program almost always wilt under the pressure and fail. Some have success but it takes them a long time to establish themselves. Duke and Carolina will struggle until they hire proven guys. Hoosiers are in good shape with Woody.

Agree. I think there are 4-5 legit contenders this year. The excuse for the B1G not winning championships in March has been that the league lacked top end talent, or that the way the league officiates games prevents them from being prepared for March. I think it’s bc it’s so damn good top to bottom that they cannibalize themselves
