I’m hopeful that it will be JHS by the 2nd half of the season. Last season XJ was an out of control mess until about the last 10 games. I’m anticipating JHS will improve drastically by that time.

JHS has been Jekyll and Hyde all night.

I’m not sure what our turnover numbers are but ALR has capitalized every single time it feels like.

Disagree completely. That Xavier team is tough and we had to be at least 10 points better than them bc that home crowd was worth at least that much. We beat Xavier by a minimum of 10 at AH. Kansas barely eeked out a home W against mighty Southern Utah today. UNC has nearly gotten beat at home by teams FAR worse than Xavier. “Bona Fide”…… pfft. This Hoosiers team is right up there with those guys. Everyone can get touched this season.

My opinion on the top teams in the B1G based solely on the eye test. 1. Illinois (they look like they have the most balance and talented guards) 2. Indiana (Thought we were the deepest and most balanced but this last game exposed that. It’s the TJD and X show. Still a great win on the road. Our shooting is worrisome to me.) 3. MSU (Gonzaga is a paper Tiger and one dimensional. Not one of the better Mark Few teams. Kentucky can’t shoot the ball worth a lick and I think that great teams have to be able to shoot from the perimeter. MSU can win the B1G this season. They look like the most cohesive unit.) I think we have the most upside if we can maximize our talent. X is clearly our most dynamic PG and the offense needs to be initiated through him. We’re flat out better when that’s happening. JHS will get more comfortable and find a way to have a better impact I’m sure. Very very concerned with Kopp’s position. He kills us while he’s out there. When people argue that he gets lost less on D, that’s not an adequate excuse for him to play the minutes he’s getting imho. Geronimo will get lost less with more confidence. More confidence will come with more minutes and being allowed to play through mistakes. Imagine if Bates or Geronimo were allowed to play with the amount of leash afforded to Kopp. He’s an end of the bench player in my view. Should be an exciting and stressful season for us all. That’s what we’ve all be begging for. Bring on Miami OH!

MSU looks legit this year. Wasn’t anticipating that. How’s their B1G schedule stack up to ours?

That Texas environment was fantastic! Wonder if they’ll sustain that level of excitement around the program or if it was just the first game at a new arena.
