Maryland went back to practice today. Tom Allen said that everything Maryland told him indicated the game was going to be played. No positive tests today.

That's a hefty spread. IU was only a 7-point favorite to MSU, just shows what yesterday did for the perception of this team.

Will be pretty cool to see the release of the College Football Playoff Rankings this Tuesday and see IU make it (strong assumption). Would be the first time ever and awesome exposure for the program. Here's to hoping Maryland has Covid under control and the game next week is played.

Looks like IU is playing an exhibition intrasquad scrimmage according to twitter. Maybe we will get some footage of that.

I mean I like that we are playing tough games and not many cupcakes. Definitely. My issue is with the draw IU got in the BIG schedule. Illinois Big schedule is a joke, and so is Purdue's. On paper IU got shafted. If most of the projections are true, people will need to keep that in mind when all the games are played and IU finishes lower than some other teams. NOW the schedule is not a reason this IU team shouldn't be good or be able to beat anyone on a given night, more so that there will be a few more losses simply because IU had to play better teams.

Yeah I wouldn't mind that scenario taking place. But I won't count on it. I do think there are some overrated teams in the top 30 (Ohio State and Minnesota) but odds are they will end up being the all in at least the top 50. Plus Butler and Providence are 56 & 57.

Yeah IU got a tough draw. Counting the entire schedule, IU has 17 games against Kenpom preseason top 30 with possibility of 19 depending on Maui. That is insane.

Are they really though? the odds of 1 of those happening is probably greater than 50%. Juwan Howard finished like 9th in the conference with zavier simpson, Jon Teske, and Isaiah Livers. Go ahead, bet on him. Not sure how he has proven anything to make you feel he is better than Archie.

IU is poised to be ahead of all those teams on paper next year if 1 of 2 things happens. Either TJD comes back for a third year, or IU gets a legit low-post player in the transfer market. IU is not that far off like this thread would make it appear..... anyway, good luck to Mason wherever he chooses to go.

Yeah not surprised. Was holding out hope as it is a short drive for me, but certainly expected this.

Oh I agree with TK. That was a bad loss and you won't see me try to rationlize missing on him for this kid. Getting Amzil will not make me feel ANY better about losing out on TK. I am more stating that this doesn't seem to be a Crean like back up plan if you look at his offers and who is starting to recruit him.
