  1. Looks like BIG tournament is moving to Indy like most thought, but the games will be played in Lucas Oil. Assume it was difficult to schedule around the Pacers. https://twitter.com/ACwishtv/status/1357312309631344640?s=20
  2. We took a grand total of 8 threes in this game. 8!!!!!!!!! Can’t win when you don’t take the most valuable shot in the damn game. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  3. We were up by 6. Needed defense more than buckets. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. Rumored failed drug test. Honestly can’t blame him if true, we could all use some weed to get through this season Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  5. I saw UNC as an 8 seed. But yes no Kentucky or Duke which is really all that matters.
  6. BOOOM!! Welcome aboard Mr. Bennett, he knows what's up.
  7. I am not a huge durham fan either. But just FYI he scored 13, 15, ,17 in the three games that Armaan was out.
  8. https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/30302581/the-varying-states-ncaa-tournament-bracketology Big Bird says IU is one of the last four byes and an 11 seed. Has IU matched against Virginia Tech. I know IU has played bad in the BIG, but that's an "upset" waiting to happen
  9. Played them tough on the road probably means we will get stomped at home, we stink at home. If we had fans I would be a lot more confident about the games this week, but without them I will be surprised with a win. I will not be so surprised if we see more like we did against Rutgers, Purdue, and Northwestern. with that said, GO HOOSIERS!
  10. Thought only the eye test mattered? If so records don’t matter that much. Just how they look when they play #logic Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  11. This isn’t a normal year. I’m not saying they are world beaters, but they are NOT a normal 6-7 team. They have played two teams that aren’t in the power 6. VMI and VCU. They also had a 3 week pause due to Covid. Please use a little more critical thinking, it is necessary. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  12. Also Good enough to beat Wisconsin at home and Virginia tech on the road by 20. Eye test would certainly say that too. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  13. Penn state on the verge of beating Wisconsin. Currently 35 in net. Could push them to quad 1 victory for IU if they hold on and move up into top 30. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  14. no this doesn't count! IU is only on ESPN because of Illinois. IU is a trash program that nobody, I mean NOBODY wants to watch. DWS
  15. He knows how to beat Purdue. I don't care what he did or didn't do. BRING HIM IN NOW
  16. keep being you brother
  17. lol you say this every year.
  18. Literally another person who didn't read the post but put in their two cents anyway. thank you
  19. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/basketball/news/march-madness-ncaa-document-covid-protocols/1iqzjrqjvecyuzz05o34s9egu Here is an article discussing the logistics for getting teams from the conference tournaments to the NCAA. I know it has been mentioned that some teams will opt out of their conference tournaments, but it doesn't seem as logical after reading this article. Just because 1 person tests positive doesn't preclude the rest of the team from playing in the NCAA. That person will quarantine and then travel to Indy when cleared. Those on the team who have 7 consecutive negative tests (which they have to have regardless of playing in the conference tournament) they can travel to Indy for the NCAA's. BTW Mike DeCourcy is the man.
  20. woof. He is looking at some serious federal time. anyway, BRING BACK SAMPSON
  21. it's a typical buyout. Paid in monthly installments and offset by his future employment. link to article that contains his contract: https://www.insidethehall.com/2017/06/27/archie-miller-to-earn-average-of-335-million-annually-on-eight-year-contract/ Something like this can get renegotiated, but if not 10 million is a lot more than 3 million with the athletic department in the state it is in. Plus you have to buyout the incoming coach's contract and pay him as well.
  22. Assembly hall is a curse to IU. It’s unreal how much success other teams have there Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
