Are they off the list because they have told him no?
If that is the case just go back through the list and offer more money. Keep doing it until they say yes. Although he should leave off Wes Miller IMO
I am guessing we hear about a decision early next week IMO. I feel like the monday after the BIG tournament is always a big day for firings and transfers. Plus we don't have the NIT this year like we did in Crean's last year (I wouldn't think) so won't have to wait as long.
I would be more worried he would transfer if Archie stayed. I mean Archie is the one who chose not to play him tonight. But with every player getting a free year to transfer, a new coach could come in and build a roster pretty quickly without having to rely on freshman. Me too. If anything save the boos for the end of the game. Really feel for the players as they finally got to play in front of fans. Don’t feel bad for Archie though Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
the only reason we have to think he is gone is that this is the arguably the worst 4 years in IU history. The reason to think he is not gone is the money. So who knows.
Well the Fire Archie thread and the coaching candidate thread have been bumpin this morning. But there is still a game to be played! The hoosiers look to avoid a third loss to Rutgers this season and a fifth loss in a row. IU has not beaten Rutgers since senior day of 2019 (my goodness).
Could this be Archie's last game? Could the team come together and make a run unlike any IU team of the past? We will see tonight at 6:30 on BTN.
Go Hoosiers!!
yeah I would say this rarely happens where a candidate is lined up. Now I think Dolson needs to have an idea of interest level from potential candidates. But nobody is going to be a guarantee until there is an actual opening and real discussions happen.
Archie's first BIG tournament started/ended with a beat down by Rutgers. Archie's last BIG tournament is going to start/end with a beat down by Rutgers.
